When are we getting new story missions?!

When the story missions came out, I ended up buying the ultimate pack, but they haven’t released new story missions in about a year, so now I feel like I wasted $40 on 2 legendary skins, a mythic skin for a hero that I don’t use, and a campaign that I completed the same day I bought it and have no one else to play with on it either

PVE Team is gone. There’s zero chances of ever getting new story missions anytime soon.

Well, the funny thing is… the story writers were fired, each and every one of them removed off of Blizzard’s payroll

Could you please link the source? I heard that some oldtimers from the story team were laid off but all of them, that would be brutal.

The canceled PVE was that big project with hero skills and other stuff. I think that story missions can still happen in a smaller format although I would prefer story told in cinematics and visual novels.

lol no, they couldnt even finish a single mission for ow2, the only three missions relased were done and fully playable before ow2 launch

And who said they couldn’t keep finishing off the next 3 for like its archives. Every single mission was started already and all had different progress. For example we already saw clips of gameplay from the next mission for Zenyatta just like they did for the Toronto one in the same video.

i want to believe dude i want to believe but is over, they did nothing and will do nothing, overwatch is a lost cause, even if they want to make pve and do it you think anyone would want to pay for more crappy 1 hour of content?

and then what, when battle pass expires you wouldnt be able to get the missions? the only way pve could work and generate interest is making them free and constant missions every season, but is over man is over, this game is dying, what made ow special was never developed

Keep it as part of level 1 for every battlepass to force everyone that gets a BP to own it.

it would be the same as getting nothing, you think the next missions planned would move the plot in any form, for what we know sombra and widow were going to attack zenyata, genji was going to save him and thats it, some mission with doomfist and the robot max who was teased to do something since 2019 and maybe a mission in new york about mmm who knows, they did nothing beyond some storyboards
