When are we getting an unlimited avoid list?

When are we getting an unlimited avoid list?

Never. Sadly.

A better option: Guild.

Then just dont apply unlimited avoid slots in GM/Top 500.

Everywhere else has a big enough population (as far as i know) where having unlimited avoid slots shouldn’t be much a of problem.

This. This game has a ton of players, I fail to see how unlimited avoids would affect queue times drastically for the majority of the base.

If anything, have them expire after a month, that way you give the idiots the benefit of the doubt that maybe they’ve grown enough as a player and aren’t totally avoid worthy in the odd rare chance you may get randomly grouped with them again.

I know it won’t last when it transitions into live but, but I went from rotating avoid slots every single game on Live to barely filling up all 3 on PTR locked Roles. As I said it won’t last in Live but it’s a step in the right direction <3

Is the avoid feature seriously used by people this much?
I can’t remember the last time I avoided someone (must be like more than a month ago), and I play competitive mode exclusively.

We desperately need more than three. I would settle for four. I play at off peak times so the minute i have to remove someone for being obnoxious on coms to add some Torb who tossed his turret off the map the whole match, i start getting matched with Captain Asstard again.

So you are 42 and you are angry that you can’t compete against younger people, that’s unlucky. I would have expected someone as old as you to be aware that it’s not their teammates that are holding him back. I’m pretty sure if somehow you got boosted to say diamond you would still be blaming your teammates for every loss. Hopefully one day you will learn that only you are responsible for your own rank.

You are in the bottom 8%, at your rank everyone is bad, so if you can’t beat those players then that says a lot about you. Let’s not pretend only your teams are bad, if you were good enough you’d easily beat all those “mushbrains”

Ah yes and we’re back to Schrodinger’s Overwatch yet again where either one player should be able to carry their team to victory, or only teamwork can make the difference depending on which side of the argument puts the expert doing the critiquing (You) on the holier than thou side.

If you seriously still believe at this point that one single player on a team is the deciding factor in a win or loss unless they are a hitscan pro or just god tier game ability in general then you’re a total fool. For the vast majority of players, win conditions rely on more than just you.

While I agree we need more done with the avoid player option, I don’t think unlimited slots is the way to go.

What Blizzard should do is increase the amount to at least 5 but make the avoid duration permanent instead of a paltry week.

If you are as good as you say you are you should be able to carry most of your games. You don’t need to be a “god”. Put any plat on your account and they’d be able to do it. Put any master player and they could do the same even with a leaver. At the rank you are in, you are literally playing vs new players/little kids/ really old people/ppl handicapped either physically or by their hardware.

Obviously because they are playing where they belong.

Cool so those people must be on my team as well, and if you think one person who isn’t Kabaji level DPS is going to carry themselves alone out of that mess then yeah you’re kidding yourself to look like a knowitall.

They don’t need to be “Kabaji” like, plat tier will do at that rank to tip the balance on most of your games.

Just for the record the highest I have been was one win from Diamond and that was when I was playing regularly with two others who were Dva and Pharah mains and I was mainly Moira/Brig/Mercy. Once those guys stopped playing so much, I attempted to continue solo Q support and that was a disaster.

They could actually have Unlimited Avoid, and just have them last only three days or so. That way WE don’t have to sit and juggle the list every single game. We could just say “nah, not this player” and at least know we won’t get them on our team for a few days. Hopefully by then, the person is out of your SR.

I’d go further to say 3 days of actual play time
