Doomfist was released in the first half of 2017, are the Numbani Carpenters on hiatus or something? Its been 5 years now do they just enjoy the aesthetic of bashed up OR15’s in the wall?

I think they’re keeping the whole of Eichenwalde as a memorial and “burial” place for Balderich. Its kind of the same thing with all the bastion units in the last bastion cinematic. Why not recycle them? Memorial.
But at least have mini posters because now the ONLY way you can ever see those banners again is through google images and youtube.

At the very least, keep “The Savior.” I assume he was the one that protected Numbani during the Omnic Crisis? He also seems to be the only good Doomfist. Which makes me wonder, “what exactly IS the Doomfist mantle, and how is it passed down?”

Not entirely:
“The Scourge” somehow became an iteration of the Doomfist mantle, then (I assume) after the battle between him and “The Successor” shown at the end of Retribution, did we get the current Doomfist.
Also, that gauntlet was retrieved AFTER Doomfist was defeated by Overwatch (and then later reclaimed by Doomfist when he released). But we still don’t know what exactly entails becoming Doomfist?
If any schmuck can just pick up a giant gauntlet and be dubbed “Doomfist” then that’s very poor writing (as well as confusing). There has to be some significance for the people of Numbani to recognize “The Savior” “The Scourge” and “The Successor” as Doomfist.

I’m not, entirely, fond of Mr. Chu, as he seemed to only really focus too much into a select few heroes (Genji & Mercy, for the most part), while leaving the rest to be without a legitimate place in the narrative world (Zenyatta, Hanzo, etc.).
It’s very scathing when an important part of a character’s backstory is left unexplained: remember how we were supposed to get news about that family Reaper was shadowing in the Christmas comic?
I want to know if Widowmaker’s brainwashing was becoming unstable since she still visits her hubby’s grave
