Playing in 3.9-4k is a nightmare in this meta. Every game a sym and doomfist just brawl into our team and everybody dies. nothing can counter that.

I literally won 8 games straight playing nothing but sym in mid master games and didn’t lose. If someone can pick her up and tear through games without having any prior experience with her, that’s called a broken character!

You do know that most Sym players keep a distance of 0.15m away when fighting anyway right? Also 180 damage per sec can still kill you pretty quickly.
Did you actually read what the nerfs are? Or did you just read the word “nerf” and assumed Sym will automatically be bad. Not every nerf kills a hero, just look at Doomfist.
Or you were playing against below plat players who often do not know how to counter Sym. Beating skill less players does not make a hero broken.
Also if that is your definition of a broken hero, then Moria should be nerfed as well.

The nerf is good, sym should never be a meta pick, like torb and bastion and so on. These characters should be more situational and not something that’s a high pick rate. The fact that I have a 90% win rate on this hero this season when I haven’t played her prior is absurd. I was playing her with little effort tearing through games.
Moira isn’t broken, just slightly op, her primary fire and orb damage should be tuned slightly. There’s a different between something that’s broken and overpowered.

Yea because being a plat DPS/Support clearly means i’m below plat (yes I know I suck at tank). Also I read about how you apparently tor though master players, however I just assumed you were over hyping things. I also just assumed the team had like one mid master player and rest where below plat or unranked.
So heroes with high pick rates should never be good?
That is nice, though I bet you won’t feel so lucky in actual master games. Assuming you can even get that far. Also how many games with Sym did you actual play, like 2?

I played 10 games with sym last night and won 9. I climbed from 3465 to just below 3700. My mmr on this account is high for damage as well as my main is just below gm for damage. So I was getting put in 36-37 games all evening.

Stop kidding yourself. Sym is dead easy to play in this particular meta because everyone just runs double shield. When people say something is ‘meta’ is simply means it’s the most effective pick. Sym effective now because of shield, so she IS easy to play now. You might not get it because people just play whatever they want in low ranks.

She has other uses besides breaking shields. I actually see a lot of garbage Sym players who only run her for the sake of breaking shields.
