What’s your most memorable Moments in text chat?

Someone told me that, as I was so bad at the video game, it was likely I could not kill myself if I tried but they wanted to see some effort nevertheless. It was one of the only times I was not subjected to the most generic toxicity imaginable, so it stood out.

Whenever a group of people leave from a match, it’s always nice to see when the opposing team takes a pause to let their team build back up! Happens lots when a team is getting rolled at the start, which is sad.

I insulted a group of gamer girls into joining voice chat, i didnt know they were in a group and they all tried to defend 1 player who i noticed had trouble walking to point.

I then insulted them so much they started laughing.

I’m KumaKuma and a guy on the enemy team was called “Kuma”, so I wrote something like “Pretender to the throne” and they responded “there can only be one” so we spent the game doing torb hammer 1v1s for the right to Kuma.
It was a tense match but after some close calls I’m still KumaKuma :muscle:

Someone said in match chat at to report me for not healing at all but when the match end I got play of the game from purely healing :joy:

it not really getting rolled, they lose 1 team fight, if your gonna leave from that then why play overwatch… It is a game of a series of wins and losing battles… Losing a battle doesn’t mean you were roll’d

I was an echo who killed the enemy doomfist who evidently had no idea how to use it. he called me a racist just because he was way too easy to kill so repeatedly. :sweat_smile:

The one that convinced me to finally disable the text chats altogether. The final straw

Playing Brig in Deathmatch and getting PERSISTENTLY harassed by a Lúcio and a Genji because I was doing so well and beating them up. Always insisting that I swap off Brig, like she’s some kind of OP monster and I’m disgusting for playing her in FFA DM. And one of them even went so far as to say “Brig cheating” for some reason after dying to me yet again. By the way, this was very late into OW1 during the quiet times, so she had already been nerfed heavily
