Lots of disconnects lately, what’s going on? Was getting whooped, we rallied and turned it around, we’re winning in OT, and BOOM, disconnected from server. Now I have an hour ban and probably on the naughty list.

Blizz has apparently been getting DDOSed multiple times recently. I don’t I know by who or why though. All it does is ruin people’s fun so I don’t get it.

I’ve seen too many last fight dcs the moment our team gains the lead to not count out the fact that players are abusing some exploit

I’ve been getting disconnected multiple times today. Just a sudden “lost connection to server” and then a big queue (meaning a ton of others got DC’d too and are all trying to get in at the same time) to sit in. There’s something going on and they haven’t posted any updates about what it is.
PS - Fix the disconnect when watching replays bug.

Great got banned and took a 35% sr hit and now I’m in the negative. It was also a game i was winning.
There’s a notification in Bnet about it. All of Blizzard servers are getting DDoS’d. For the uninitiated a DDoS is a Denial of Server attack against the servers.
Meaning:
- High Ping
- Disconnects
- Inability to reconnect to servers
Whatever is going on, someone is disgruntled. DDoSing is illegal and it’s a cyber attack against the company.
When you launch the game do you use the battle.net launcher?
But why? That’s the part that I don’t understand.

It’s a DDoS or a Distributed Denial of Service Attack. The whole point is to deny the service, which can ruin fun. It’s a cyber attack and a crime. We don’t know why the person or group of people are doing this because we don’t know what their motivations are.
This is what I’m curious about though. Seems like they would want to make those motivations public.

But why would they want it to be public? It’s a cyber crime which comes with real sentences and jail time. If it were public they would either get fined a ton of money or go to jail. ?_?
NetEase literally owns/operates Overwatch in China though 
I think it’s called a DOS if it solely runs on the affected system 
Some ppl claim its due to the world race in WoW, when NA’s team is getting ahead the ddos starts so the EU team can catch up.
