Personally I enjoy playing as sombra she’s a fun character thing is when i do play her I get tbag and insulted in the chat, they call me “sombra abuser” like what’s the deal? I get it her hacking is annoying but you do realize that I’m playing how the character is supposed to be played.
Everyone has counters, sombra can counter alot but you can easily counter sombra too so I don’t get it am I missing something?
Why get mad at the player, for playing how the character supposed to be played?

- Hacking is annoying
- If your teammates aren’t Syncing up on her Hacks/EMP, then she’s basically a soft throwing pick.
- If the Sombra isn’t active on voice comms, then she’s basically a soft throwing pick.

Sombra hack has a hidden passive, where you trigger enemy teams tanks 50% more than other heroes. Your team might be like “wow Sombraa, no damage gg pls switch”, but enemy tanks are like literally crying. Sombra can be a hit or miss, she is a really hard hero to get value out of

You’re playing a hero that strips away abilities in an ability-based shooter and can warp out of fights whenever you’re about to lose them.

But playing against her is truly annoying if you are playing tank.
That is why she will be reworked for OW2

Because Hack is really oppressive imo
And with EMP being really strong and the fact that she can Invis and translocate away
I feel she needs a big rework for ow2…but she isnt OP

On your team’s side she is a throw pick if your team lacks coordination or the Sombra is not very good. Which from what I have seen is pretty common.
For the enemy a good Sombra is annoying to come up against though this is rare to see.

Yeah if you land on red team, then sure pick Sombra. But playing from a blue team, your team will not be ok with your pick and can’t play around you
people cry about her because they don’t know how to counter her and that they can’t use their abilities for a few seconds WAHHHHHH WHAHHH

I’ve experienced some really intense anger for playing Sombra. It is pretty frequent.
Thankfully match chat and even team chat can now be permanently turned off so whatever. Hate away.

She denies you from feeding, being overly aggressive and have to actually use your brain not be tunnel vision. She’s just like Symmetra and Bastion on the ladder where people don’t know how and won’t even try to play around which doesn’t mean going bunker for bastion

If you look back at any replay code of a Sombra players, do you ever feel like you actual “outplay”, “outsmart” or “outgun” anyone? Or do you hope to hack s.o. *who misplay) and hope your team finish the kill for you, or do you EMP the enemy and hope your team follow up and do the dirty job?
Sombra is like the Mercy of DPS, having half the hero played by herself and the rest is hoping the team to carry.

People who play this game tend to hate abilities that annoy them. I myself find hook really irritating. The issue comes when people decide that because they find an ability annoying that character needs to be nerfed.
