What's with all the genji hate?

Yknow it’s always the default Overwatch portrait is going to say the stupidest sh*t on this forum.

you mean the ranks where people actually understand heroes fundamentally? Also the 1% (which means you likely aren’t there or deal with GM genji’s)? ok keep using GM as an excuse.

Because he was arguably balanced before and instead of nerfing powercrept characters they just keep adding to the problem

iddqd? the guy whos been gm every season since launch? ok im sure that applies to the plats who cant aim long enough to kill a moira

Blizzard can’t seem to even grasp the idea of nerfing heroes when they aren’t supports anymore and then ‘surprised pikachu face’ about queue times.

Look, I am 54, have potato aim, and still managed to pull gold damage on him with double jump, a few swift strikes, etc. His skill floor is clearly lowered after these last buffs. you setting the bar to Gm doesn’t prove anything quite frankly, that’s about 2.5% of the playerbase skill-wise currently. He will almost certainly get part of a revert on his kit very soon, or at the very least the ult charge will be reduced.

Every buff lowers skill that’s the point of the buff

Not all buffs lower skill floors. The point is, was it really needed? Armor was an example of an ability that only got the most value at high tiers… so they just don’t scale that way always.

Someone got that on brig before her last buffs? Not saying about the first version of her.

Dash reset and faster movement speed means you cannot just walk away from him.

I wasn’t going to take you seriously until you mentioned a person I’ve never heard of

The fact that the dude got four buffs at once for being an average hero meanwhile heroes that have been garbage since launch are still sitting there waiting for something to happen.

There’s also the fact that it’s statistically overtuned and the dude overtook Ashe who was already over buffed to begin with.

and before you had a pretty reasonable chance of not having annoying instagib hero on the enemy team (when it was just doom)

now that there’s three: it’s almost guaranteed

dash doesn’t just reset. if nobody is near him (especially if he gets booped) his ult is over

it’s riptire with more health and it kills you slower

You do get a dash reset when he ults. Which is why you can dash in to the sky for a clear receipt of nano and then dash back in to the enemy. If he ults and isn’t able to reach anyone with the initial dash reset then they used it at a bad time.

because he didn’t need any buff

simple.
