Like, okay, OPM? First collab ever, tons of hype because of that, cool. Cowboy Bebop? I mean, sure I guess. Feels a little soon to have anime again for third collab, but sure. MHA? Actually what the heck is going on? Should I be expecting a DBZ collab 6 months from now? Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool but I think I would have taken a LazyTown collab over the third anime collab in less than 2 years

skins were so disappointing in 3d as well. glad they stepped it up in the 3d modelling department this time but this one also came out of nowhere
Yeah, I don’t want to be the anime game. I think it might just be dev preference at this point, because anime is super niche and can’t possibly sell to a wide audience. The designs for anime characters are normally silly and wouldn’t appeal to anyone who isn’t already a fan of that anime.
Like, I see how someone might have bought the Bumblebee skin for Bastion with knowing about Transformers, but how many non-anime fans bought McCree’s Cowboy Bebop skin? Or any of the anime skins so far for that matter.
