Whats with all the abbreviations?

Ok could someone list me a couple of the Overwatch abbreviations that people use? such as DM, or CC? I know that cc heros are like Hamster, doomfist, and brig. But what does it mean? I’m sorta new to the forums so idk

You know you can just google these things.

It stands for Crowd Control.

DM = defense matrix

CC = crowd control (stuns, slows, etc)

CC stands for crowd control, which is things such as knockback slowing effects

There used to be a post listing all words in OW and defining them but I couldn’t find it.
