What's the silliest gamertag experience you've had?

My longtime friend just recently got back into Overwatch and we’ve been having oodles of laughs queuing together. One thing in particular we giggle at while playing a match is the gamertags of our allies and enemies. Do you do the same thing? If so, share the funniest experience you’ve had with a misinterpreted, edgy, or just plain hilarious gamertag.

One diamond from today was Creeper Go Bam5. It was such a childlike and innocent gamertag and it would just crack us up everytime we saw it. Of course, the fact that Creeper Go Bam was playing D.va didn’t help matters. Every time Creeper got de-meched we just shouted “CREEPER WENT BAM!” We were giggling like a bunch of 4 year olds and it was wonderful.

P.S. This thread is not meant to hurt anyone, and I trust it to you all to keep it in good fun. Look forward to seeing what gems you guys have found!

I keep getting this duo in my games. They’re called Hanswole and Hunkrat. It makes me chuckle.

They picked ships. I will admit I get a chuckle each time I see them cause I don’t know what pair they’ll choose.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of people I’ve brought joy to with my name

a few days ago i saw one that was like Zero something filled with allot of Symbles and whatnot i thought it was pretty neat looking like stylistic but the rest of the team couldn’t stop laughing XD

Every now and then I’ll see a “ReaperMain” or “HanzoMain” or whatnot.

Haha, I always enjoy peoples’ weird/entertaining names. The best I’ve seen was a while ago in a skirmish, when someone was named High_Noon_Im_Dad

(I might be misremembering the exact punctuation, since I can’t find them, but it cracked me up at the time)

I always find those tags with a bunch of śÿmbøłš all over them with a weird font to be funny. The most recent encounter was this guy named Wolffang that was somehow larger than the others with a funky font and symbols in every letter.

Best reaction I have received is “MrTickles? Sounds like the name of a creepy host for an 80’s children’s show.”

I played a comp game with a fellow named “IplaySombre”…before Sombre was cool. His win% was 89% after 20 hours with her.

Saw a player in comp on other team called DoomfistOrThrow. He was playing Doomfist.

My favourites on PSN I’ve seen have been an Orisa named KimJongGun and a Hanzo named IDontPickHanzo (obvious smurf :p)

I once played a game against a Pharah called “AWittyShanker” if u get what I mean

I couldn’t even be mad when they solo rocket barraged me, it was so funny

I make my name “Andough” on everything

Someone took it on PUBG, so I made it “Some1tookAndough” lol

I’ve seen some pretty good ones, but not really that I remember.

Mostly I get people laughing at my GamerTag instead.

I swear I once saw the name “hanzoloque” or something similar. Made me giggle a bit. Guess the hero of choice…

I had AIDSMONGLER on an alt.

It took A FULL YEAR for it to be force changed, lol.

I’ll sometimes get people who will see mine and say “My Brand!” to which I’ll reply “I have special eyes.” Slightly humorous.

I’ve also found out that there is a character in League of Legends that has the name Brand, but I’ve never played that game. If people reference it, I’m usually lost, heh.

I’ve been using this handle since the mid 90s, and was using even before the internet started becoming mainstream for characters on games and in stories I’d write.
