What's the point of these loadouts?

I go to hero gallery and see “loadouts” now. There’s already four voiceline slots, four spray slots, four emote slots and you can switch skins before the match starts, so loadouts? Maybe this could’ve been useful in OW1, but in OW2 how is a new player supposed to have enough items to fill all those slots in three different loadouts? No one’s gonne be spending credits on sprays now because the game doesn’t let you have enough of those to just throw around like that. Everyone’s gonna be sitting on those for skins.

Don’t forget that you can’t swap between loadouts in the startup phase of a match. You have to individually select the loadout you want to use prior to queueing for a game. I would much rather have the option to use more emotes/sprays/VLs on one tab, than have 3 separate loadouts that only work when selected outside of the match.

The favorites feature is nice though

Isn’t it obvious? The point is to have different loadouts saved so that you can quickly swap between them from match to match. Some matches you might want a certain skin, certain spray list, certain voice line list etc. and the next match you might want something different.

It’s a lot easier compared to having to go to hero gallery after every match and change your voice lines/sprays etc.

im still confused tho why we can favorite skins, but still dont have “random from favorites” for skins

It gives forum users something else to complain about

I understand why it’s there… I just think it’s yet another feature nobody asked for while the real problems remain in place.

They do….it’s just bugged atm from looks of things

You can see it if you turn on the unowned filter….question is why is it unknown

What voiceline, skin or emote is dependent of a certain map or gamemode? I dont get the load out feature unless it has something to do with stats, abilities or weapons.

it would make sense IF you could actually select it in the hero select screen. You can’t though… so it is useless
