What's the point of the avoid list?

I added a tank who keeps feeding, next game i got him as my tank AGAIN. i swear to god nothing works in this game lol garbage af

Did you avoid him before or after starting the queue?

Avoid list works by decreasing the chance they’re put on your team. Generally speaking you won’t get them again but if queue times are long they sometimes will be put onto your team.

If you want to never have them on your team again you need to pin them.

To be fair, it works in normie ranks (in my experience). I’ve never had an avoided person show up on my team the next game after they’ve proven to be a screaming ninny, but I’ve been matched up against them instead a fair amount. I don’t bother pinning anyone.

When they increased the slots they were VERY clear that the extra slots were a LOWER chance, not a hard avoid, and that for a hard avoid you should use the pin slots. It works exactly as intended, and as one would expect it to.
