When the false reports of other players results you losing accessibility to those things you’ve paid for?
How about dialing down on your policing and californian ways and be realistic to both the internet and real life.
I literally would pour so much more money into this game if Blizzard ever once gave me (not just a valid reason, BUT ANY REASON) why my initial account I’d dropped over $250 into was randomly banned. Did it have something to do with maining Torb/Hanzo right from the get go? No reasons or explanations have in turned ironically gave me the reason and explanation why I don’t spend money on this game, regardless of how much it’s deserved.

Hit the nail right on the head. Though, I’m sure people here will defend the flawless report system, especially when money is being lost on this, right?

Live service games are a “NO GO” for ever giving them money on DLC.
They aren’t policed, regulated or fairly moderated. I’ve been victimized in Dead by daylight more than once. and thats from crummy clueless team members at BHVR inc. So yeah, dont ever give them money or any live service game.
They can ban, alter or change their game based upon their feelings that day. They have no authenticity to a binding trust between YOU as the end-user and THEM as the Service.
and if you have a dispute there is no Government oversight that will stand with you. Same goes here. Just don’t trust them.

Sorry for your loss bud, but LMAO, L.
This company for a while now has behaved like they should be paying players to play their games, not the other way around.
As others have said, live service games with $50 skin packs are predatory, and they can just turn off the servers (like OW1) or ban you whenever they want, and the law will be on their side until people like you sue them and win. Which you won’t, because they are a giant multinational that will probably just throw money at you to make the problem go away, if they don’t just crush you with their lawyers in the first place.
Why anyone would spend a cent of their own money on this game is beyond me, knowing full well the servers could be off tomorrow and your ‘investment’ will just evaporate. Donate or buy nice food or an experience or something you can hold/resell down the line, if you want, not a pixel costume with a flash of thigh.
At any rate I hope you and any other readers learned your lesson.

My main reason for posting this was to hopefully make its way somehow to people working at Blizzard
I honestly do not make much money AT ALL (<30k/yr), but frankly, do not mind paying for, and supporting a game, that brings me so much joy…
AS LONG AS IT’S FAIR AND JUST WITH ITS REASONING
But when it continues to pull these money hungry schemes, and lack of transparency crooked behavior, it quickly would turn any LOYAL customer and fan into a “why do i spend money on this game?” person.
Then they wonder why they’ve been tanking so hard. It’s not that difficult to comprehend folks! Just look at how you treat your most loyal gamers.

No only blizzard is worse like this valve still rewards me for playing cs, fortnite is live service done right, psyonix is decent with rl too.
Others are mediocre but utter greeedy monetization goes to halo infinite, destiny 2 and overwatch 2
Also microsoft demands greedy monetization of its studio that is how it made 343 kill infinite.

How do you even get victimized in dbd lmao
The only time players were ever victimized in that game is when some of us lost our legacy. That’s it.
Even without bans, if OW1 is anything to go by, there is no point into spending anything in a game that you have no ownership over anyway.

This is how it goes for me since my main with every OW1 skin was banned.
Do you have enough free coins to buy battle pass?
YES
Buy battle pass
NO
Skip the battle pass season until you have enough free coins to buy the battle pass again

There is no value in digital purchases when the company can go under or the game dies in popularity. People getting banned is also byproduct of the American culture because Blizzard is from the USA. What they find as infraction against their EULA will result in the promised punishment. Blizzard does not have mods looking for offenders, it’s the community killing itself.

I think they should get rid of ALL attacks, have everyone running around slapping each other like fairies and doing 0 damage.
If you get suspended off the game then please stay away.
Not to mention the twitch drops dealing out of skins that cost 20 euro last year
The practices they employ are not ‘Californian ways’. Most of it is just socialism which you can find all over the world by the way.
That’s like telling all drug addicts to go die. This is the same bias as racism. Don’t make such absolute statements if you want to be right/righteous.
This is why I don’t believe this typically;
- I play on a controller, so I’m below like 75% of the PC playerbase. If you can get reported for throwing, I’m sure I’d eat one of those. I don’t/haven’t.
- I’m plat. I’m painfully average. I don’t have 1k hours on every hero. So I’m probably not going to swap to the thing. (or do worse when I try)
It’s also worth noting plat is where a lot of the angry people are who will report you for anything. Gotta love that bell curve.
- I say things like “GG”, “please swap” and other bare minimum chatting. So they can’t just get you for saying things like that.
I can guarantee there’s more we’re missing. I find that my not getting banned for so long is just because I know how to talk to people on the internet. Which is to say, like another person.
The only word a plat knows is diff in my experience.
Read the terms of service before you agree. If you do like em, play something else. It’ll be a struggle, but we’ll find the strength to go on without you.
Don’t spend money.
Game isn’t making money for a reason.
Oh yeah bro. Give hundreds of dollars to a company that can just press the suspend for a month button and not tell you why and just send you bot responses to multiple support tickets. XD
