Just curious. I think its competitive but idk.

Also, this is another question but will xbox series x players be able to play with xbox one players aswell?

Depends on the region, they released stats for popularity based on a single day a couple years ago. It was either QP or Comp, varying by region.

I believe in Europe and US it’s comp by a large margin.

Weirdly enough, in Asia, I believe Open Comp is more popular, almost like a reverse of the numbers you see in Europe/US.

It is 100% ranked.

  1. Ranked (RQ)
  2. Quick Play (RQ)
  3. QP Classic
  4. Mystery Heroes
    and so on.

They showed off the numbers ages ago, I doubt the percentages have changed much since then.

As for the xbox question… xbox is xbox. you can play with them all.

Quick play (role queue) is the most popular game mode, but competitive has the most playtime.

This graph was the last one we’ve received for player population percentage per mode… though this is from 2 years ago, when they first were trying open que as a new mode.

A long time ago, before Role Queue, someone, I think Jeff, said that Quick Play is the most popular mode by number of players but Competitive is the most popular by number of games

ie more people play QP, but the people who play Comp play more, and do/did so by enough to overtake the larger group of QP players.
