I don’t see anywhere but the forums complaining about Mercy. I love Mercy, she’s my favorite support to have on my team when I play Doomfist. Why is she busted?

A very simple explanation: lowest skill floor hero in the game, and has way to much impact for that low skill floor…

Lucio can heal while afk you can’t get lower skill floor than that.

How many places have you looked? I see plenty of threads about her on r/competitiveoverwatch, and one of the more infamous rants about her was on twitter.
Forums just get more complaints about her because this is a more concentrated venue for actually discussing the game (versus r/overwatch for example which is like 99% highlights).

Because they need a new nerf target. But rather than a new one, they’re recycling old ones. Mercy’s been run over by several hate trains in her existence. The first few early on in the game’s life were warranted. Particularly after she first got cooldown rez that reset on ult pop and had two extra casts in the ult and instant casting speed.
Nowadays there’s not much to actually justifiably call for drastic nerfs outside of Sojourn, so these people gotta find someone to pick on. Nevermind the fact that the game is long overdue for buffing underperforming heroes, no no no. Obviously we have to try to dumpster every hero that isn’t subjectively fun by the majority.
On this forum there is always flavor complaint of the month.
Mercy is meh. Sojourn made her relevant. That’s about it.
Nobody still wants to play Support but some forum members went through the quantum realm with AntMan to discover an alternate reality where Mercy has no counterplay.

Because she boosts damage and heals and ressurects and flies. She is a powerful character capable of walking and collecting health packs furiously.

I don’t think she’s the lowest skill floor Support even, but I can see how without the need for cooldown management she’s arguably a lower skill floor. She still needs big brain positioning to not die.
I’m surprised its still not Kiriko. Suzu is a busted ability. Remember when everyone hated Immortality Field?
I didn’t see that one on r/competitiveoverwatch. But I did unfollow all overwatch subreddits in a fit of game hate rage awhile ago and have to purposefully check them, they’re no longer on my FYP.
Ironically +5 bullet was a meme for a month because people has been asking for Mercy buff.
people, especially streamers hate how there is a hero who can just pocket heal to the top. most of the threads are from cult stream worshippers probably
still i bet there are people who hate mercy solely w/o some help from a streamer
personally mercy is one of my most played heroes, just havnt played her much at all in this “new” overwatch 2. cant fanthom how people are so good with her
