heres a one trick mirror with 500+ comp hours on the enemy team who goes 34/3 in 15 minutes!!! theres your reward for trying to improve!!
this has happened without fail every time i learn a hero.
its happened on Ashe, Tracer, Lucio, Zenyatta, Sojourn, Widowmaker, Reinhardt, Doomfist, Pharah, Genji, and Hanzo.
im sick of it. within the first 3 games of learning a hero I get a stupid mirror with a one trick of that hero who stomps the game and i get trash talked
Are you surprised that people who invest tons of time into a hero are going to diff you on them especially when theyâre popular ones played a lot? Take it as a learning experience on how to play the hero instead of carrying about cry baby teammates.

not my point, its that I can go WEEKS without seeing a one trick of a hero but the milisecond I try to learn them its a mirror match every game
Iâm On the OHHH YOU WANNA PLAY QP AND VIBE OUT, Heres the sweatiest stack we have in que right now hard coming counterpicking playing their 1000h heros. Also we have some wonderful other solo que players for your team ( donât mind the fact that they donât have hands to play with)

had an orisa in the Junkenstein ARCADE mode DC and reconnect JUST to counterswap and then tryharded like there were hostages on the line, still won but holy dude some people want that win so damn much
Overwatch timing not sure what else to say and you surely donât go weeks of playing without seeing them itâs just more memorable when it happens to you
I legit have only seen one or two Sojourns in the past 2 weeks but the milisecond I try to learn her I get matched against one with a mercy pocket multiple games in a row, not the same players, but the exact same duo comp
She just got some sizable buffs at start of season that make her actually worth playing. I think youâre looking way too much into it.
every single time I learn a hero is not looking too much into it, its within 3 games of starting to learn without fail every time no matter the character time of day, season, or what
Itâs not like youâre picking niche heroes no one plays what do you expect
Side effect of sbmm in all modes.
Either make a new account to onetrick the thing you suck at, or endure getting stomped for a while until your mmr adjusts. Nothing else you can really do.

My advice is to learn/practice a new hero versus A.I. bots in training.
That way you can practice everything (weapons, abilities, positioning, muscle-memory, etc.) in a relaxed environment. Your team usually dominate the A.I. bots, so even if you suck you wonât be a detriment to the team.
Also, you wonât have to worry about getting matched up against a someone with â500+ comp hoursâ on the hero your just learning.
sorry⊠i just really like the chubby lil hampter guy

The first step to being good at something is to spend a lot of time being bad at that thing.

You should be happy. Getting paired against a competent one trick will help you learn your new hero extremely fast. Thatâs exactly what you want to happen and itâs quite lucky.

Do you, like, keep getting matched against them?
That happens to me too but after getting bodied, the game usually figures out I need a more gentle lobby to try that lol
