You don’t need a gaming controller, you need a good gaming chair. It’ll carry you to GM.
Just plug in an Xbox controller.
don’t have an xbox…
I’m looking for one specifically for PC though
I honestly don’t know of anything better. Pretty much all PC games are designed for full compatibility with the Xbox controller. It’s the standard though there may be better options out there that I don’t know about.
PS4 controller works well also, but the menus still often show Xbox buttons.
Mouse and keyboard. You’re nerfing yourself on a controller. Just learn to use a mouse. You can’t be afraid forever.
EDIT: Some games do require a controller. I use the xbox one wireless controller. Use bluetooth or the wireless adapter.
PS4/Xbox. There aren’t many PC specific ones because not enough people want them to really justify large scale production when console controllers can literally just be plugged in and used with minimal fuss.
Great controllers you can use on the PC are the XBOX or PS4/5 controllers. If you don’t have a console it doesn’t matter, those are quality controllers and you can decide based on your preference.
For me Xbox > Sony for FPS/Racing (of course if we’re talking FPS multiplayer on PC I would only ever play with a M+K. For Fighting Sony wins in the controller department.
Lies I’m playing a 3d platformer jumperwatch doom parkour
If it’s for FPS, mouse and keyboard. for racing, fighting, and platforming games, I use this one amazon .com/PowerA-Wired-Controller-Nintendo-Switch-GameCube/dp/B07GXKCPJT/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=usb+gamecube+controller&qid=1615588245&sr=8-12
You can use xbox controllers on PC too.
I use an 8bitdo sn30 pro+ for my gaming needs…not for overwatch…but it covers pretty much what I need for other games
an xbox controller is all you need but if you wanna take the game seriously tho i guess you could use a scuf although those are super expensive
just rolling in to say that the TITLE IS MISSPELLED FIX IT OR SCOOTER ANKLE
You can use an xbox controller on the PC. It’s actually natively supported on the PC.
I have both the wireless xbox one controller, and the bluetooth xbox one controller that I use on my pc, laptop, and android devices. I do use the GameSir X2 for my android phone.
You can even use playstation controller on the PC, but you may be additional software/hardware.
I would just get a Dualshock of some sort. I had an Xbox Elite and it was a pretty garbo controller for the price. Maybe something has changed about that with new versions, but there was virtually no real reason to use it versus a DS and when it comes down to basic controllers I think the DS wins hands down over the standard Xbox.
I used to play a lot of Rocket League and the DS was the standard in that game. If you plan on using the D-pad a lot, maybe for fighting games, side-scrollers, or emulated games, then I suggest you get the replacements that are individual buttons. I think I got mine from Battle Beaver, but there are probably other places. That’s my only big gripe with it, that that isn’t the default, but that’s the same for Xbox. I do think default Xbox controllers have a better D-pad than DS, but it’s not major and the individual buttoned DS D-pad is superior to standard Xbox D-pad.
Your mouse and keyboard.
well thx for the replies I got my answers xD
I’ve always been more partial toward PS controllers than xbox but I’m still thinking about…
thx again all
You can use ps controllers on PC. Steam even has an control option for setting up button maps if a game doesn’t officially support it.
I generally use wired Xbox 360 controllers which I think run about 25 USD. They work well, and since they are so old they tend to be quite cheap and surprisingly can still be found quite easily. I was even able to pick one up at a GameStop a few months back.
