What's a good alternative to a Logitech G Pro X?

Technically an OW question because I only play OW💀

Seriously though. My Logitech mouse is great, but it has a few quirks. First off, Ghub and SignalRGB close each other and I’m not good enough at tech stuff to stop that from happening, so I’m outright locked at 800 DPI. Second, my camera does this thing where it’ll look straight up or down and just SPIN. It actually kinda looks like those spinbot cheats, except I don’t do a frame perfect flick to someone’s head in the middle of it. I don’t know why it happens, but I’ve looked into it and it is a Logitech thing.

So uh, just looking for an alternative. Does anyone know a good one?

My G502 will do the same thing with spinning randomly.

I’d die if I were locked at 800 dpi though.

It caused me quite a bit of trouble, because I used to play at 1600. I had to double all of my sensitivities, and I have MANY different ones. Took like 30 minutes to fix.

Just be like me and only ever use 48k edpi

Literally how do you aim

I don’t really know but it works out

Glass mouse pad too. Zooooooom

Well clearly it works for you. Idk how though.

I also have a glass mousepad! I hate cloth ones, idk why

Scuff.

I’m on my second G Pro X superlight. It’s a great mouse. Yes the logitech software is garbage. You can use it to set your preferred DPI, then save that to the hardware (mouse on-board memory) and you don’t even have to run GHub if you don’t want to.

You might be able to fix the issue by increasing the LOD (lift-off distance) of your mouse if that option is available in your settings

Also, since that model is the most popular one among pro players and aim freaks, getting a better mousepad would probably make more sense and would be cheaper

Well, I’m using a Logitech Mx518 Hero

i use a pulsar x2v2 mini although the normal size is probably closer to the gprox.

my recommendation would be going to r/mousereview or use this video as a general guide for mouse quality.

Lamzu Atlantis 4K is a great alternative with a somewhat comparable shape. I prefer it. It’s my current main.

Razer Viper V2 Pro is also an insane mouse, though Razer’s Synapse software sucks. Overcomplicated and buggy.

Pulsar X2V2 is also a great mouse, and the new X2H model might be a good fit (same as X2V2 but different shape with higher hump - should feel a little more like the GPX I think). I have an X2H on the way but won’t show up until later next week. I could comment then on how the shape compares to the GPX.

However, I haven’t used anything whose shape is exactly like the GPX, so expect an adjustment period with any new model.

iirc the x2h has more curved in sides which might be annoying for a gprox user who is used to the flatter sides of that mouse.

Ohh good tip! Wasn’t aware of that.

Personally, I know a Razer Viper Mini: very simple in design, it has software that adapts the dpi well, always reliable, long-lasting and I use the two side buttons for melee and crouching and the central button for interaction. without this type of setting I wouldn’t even know how to play Overwatch, it’s too convenient as a setting.

Spin out. That’s a sensor issue and a pretty old one. Any quality newer mice won’t have that problem. Check out rocket jump ninja he can help you find the best mouse for your hand size. I really like pulsar products. I have the xlite mini best mouse ever. I went through so many mice trying to find the perfect one till I found my bb xlite mini

This is one of the ones I was looking at. Will the software cause any actual problems with the mouse, such as the spin? Also, thanks for so many suggestions!

Nah it won’t cause any problems. The software is just bloated for my taste but once you set it up how you like, you can simply choose for it to no longer run on Windows startup. All the settings will be stored internally in the mouse, and the mouse has a DPI button unlike the GPX.

If you get this, definitely buy the Razer Hyperpolling Wireless dongle too. Now supports polling at 8K wireless. Pretty sure it’s the lowest wireless latency on the market.

If you get something else, here are some key settings to use in the software:
Motion Sync ON. This is a fairly new tech that makes a noticeable difference in tracking accuracy. Not a just placebo imo. Razer Viper V2 Pro has this always on, so you won’t see a setting for it.

Angle Snapping OFF.

Ripple Control OFF.

Alright, will definitely be getting that then. Thanks!
