(Stalling time because not likely a lot OW News this week.)
Mine was Super Mario Bros. on my uncle’s old Nintendo console, when I was around 2. (Almost 30 years ago today.)
Edit: First game I ever owned was Pokémon Blue. (If you want to share the first you owned too.)
(Aka Parents really didn’t like me gaming. Just Texas things.)
Edit 2.
Welp looks like the OWL tournament has started.
Hoping for OW2 news after.
But know better.

I played Breakout in 1977.
Oh, I played pong in 1975, very very badly. ( I was 2!!) - I have a picture of me playing it.

I honestly don’t remember. The pizza place I stopped at after finishing my paper route to play pinball got one in. It was pretty new thing at the time(at least where I was, (1979 or 1980). But I don’t recall what game it actually was though.
I’ll look up some old coin ops and see if it’ll jog my memory.

The first I ever played with my dad I don’t remember, I was far too young. But I remember the first one I mainly played myself on our first PC, which was Star Wars Rogue Squadron 1.

Makes me wonder how many players today realize that the term “tilted” came from pinball.

Pong on the Magnavox Oddessey. The one where you had to stick overlays on the TV screen. Somewhen in the mid 70’s. Older cousin had one.

Probably Asteroids or Ms. Pac-Man.

First game I really remember WANTING to play was Adventure on the ol’ 2600. I actually spoiled the ending of Ready Player 1 while watching it with friends and family XD

Hmm, I was a preschooler at that time (80’s), so it was either Space Invaders on my uncle’s handheld (it was neat- it looked like a hand held arcade machine!) or a Sesame Street game that taught counting on one of those Tiger devices (or some other off-brand).
Then I was gaming on an Atari 2600 before moving on to gaming on a Tandy computer, followed by a Game Gear hand held, followed by a Sega Genesis, followed by a 486…

I think it was either Super Mario Strikers on the Gamecube of my grandpa or Mario Kart DS

I was too young to remember, but it would have been either Super Mario Brothers or Tetris on the NES.
The first game I have memories of playing is Sonic 2 on the Sega Genesis. I also remember Echo the Dolphin coming with my Genesis and not being able to figure out how to get through it.

My dad used to work at Nintendo so my first game was Super Mario for the NES.
My mom was the only one who could beat the boss and do the loop
I was too little to do it properly.

I am not sure… iirc it was Sonic on SEGA.
Maybe it was also Super Mario on gameboy pocket.
I think it was the former.
.
My first own game was Silicon Valley for N64

I’m pretty sure it was the orginal Doom. I didn’t really get into gaming until the GameBoy Pocket days.
