What was the best element in Avatar?

And would you want a similar hero in Overwatch?

Imo earth is the best element.

If they release a hero that can manipulate Earth his name better be Rocky.

Another aerial hero would be nice too! One that flies with a glider and you have to use your surroundings and momentum to keep yourself in the air (instead of managing fuel like Pharah).

If they add a fire hero it’ll literally just be Pyro. Also, isn’t Torb our fire hero now… come to think of it.

Aside from like Mei I guess, a water hero would be pretty new! I saw a concept of a fan-made Thai hero who was a marine biologist, and I think she had some water abilities. All I’d add to that is a TSUNAMI ultimate. Just imagine a giant wave wrecking the red team. >:-D

Oh, and air is best element to answer your question.

Earth is the best, no competition.

Earth was definitely the most practical for everyday life. However, I don’t think that it could translate well into Overwatch.

Why is Avatar in every part of my life today??

Also, Agreed.

Earth for the win.

Though, if i could be anything it would be a fire bender.
Hands down.

Lol i have no clue, maybe you’re just a plague of bad luck or something

On a related note i’ve never watched the legend of korra, is it good?

It’s… meh. But that’s my personal opinion.

It’s set in an early 1900’s style developed version of the world, which gets rid of one of the things i loved about the original series, which was the old age technology mixed with the otherworldly powers.

But many people like it, i haven’t even seen all of it myself.

Avatar doesn’t make much sense to me with radios… .-.
But hey, that’s just me.

Earth is the most practical and also holds a lot of power that is easy to underestimate.

I like water however.

It’s okay. I think the problem with LOK is that it’s almost entirely a different experience than last air bender. It has a lot to live up to, and it just fills a different role I think.

It’s an orange, when i wanted another apple.

Chibi doesn’t much like oranges. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Welp. Time to go to war against you good sir.

Oranges are superior! They are tasty, and they are unique. Just try to rhyme something with orange! :stuck_out_tongue:

My favorite was always air and water.

To translate it into overwatch… hm…

A hero with water capabilities. Support; cab barrier damage briefly with water; heals teammates similar to harmony orb by encasing teammates. Light damage with projectile.

Air hero would probably be dps or even tank. Knockabck ability with air, as well as high mobility. Can deal damage with high velocity blasts.

First off:

  • Blorenge (a mountain in Wales)

Secondly, have you ever had orange bread or cookies?
now THOSE Are to die for.

But Chibi just doesn’t like oranges regularly.
It’s a texture thing.

Water will always be crowned leader :sweat_drops: :joy:
On a “bending note” you’ve got Ice, vapor and even blood.

Alternatively, I could also see something similar to Yasuo’s windwall in League of Legends. Maybe make something that could block projectiles only for a bit?

Water I see as a healer as well.

Learn something new every day.

They are pretty solid, gonna have to agree haha.

I can actually totally get that.

So, maybe this is just me. But if I had fire bending powers, I always just imagine that it would be practical to be like. I don’t know, a chef or something? Maybe a smith? Fire just seems so hard to use practically without you know, being a literal arsonist.

Home made orange bread is literally one of the best things on earth.

Chibi doesn’t like certain things like oranges… but cannot eat berries of any kind.

Dunno why, they just smell bad enough that i can’t even get near them or i get physically ill. (shrug)

Wish i could tho, i hear berry pies are good.

A lot of posts say earth, and I agree…
but all I can think of atm is the Shyamalan Movie were it takes 10 presumably practiced Earthbenders to throw a small boulder at the speed of an agitated sloth.

You’ll never be cold or need heat sources in houses around winter so there’s that.
