In almost every game I get a really dumb team. The whole time I have 4 gold medels gold elim, gold damge ect. If im so good why do I lose so many game?
I mainly play Moira. My strategy is to flank and kill supports. If I see my team id low I fade back. And this is a viable strategy because I have all golds the whole time.
So it must be my team that’s holdin me back. But I get these people constantly. Almot every game I have to carry. It’s just no fun.
Ao my question to you is, how do you deal with uselss teammates you have to carry???

To answer your question, nobody has “bad luck” eternally, we all have to play the odds. If you dont want the randomness of solo queue, you have to get 1-2 players to queue with.
Eventually your positive WR will make you climb.

Golds means nothing.
If you waste too much time flanking and your team takes too much DMG or even dies then it’s not worth.
Watch Teslas YT videos and learn something from him. Keep in mind that his strats primarily are designed for high elo gameplay but he gives nice tips - worth checking out!

If you I have gold on everything how am I not climbing? If I dind’t had 3/4 golds every game than I’d blame myself. But I don’t…
My gameplay is just good and above my rank. But still I can’t seem to climb.
Gold medals is not the same as being good at the game many times. For example, if you are on losing team, that is rolled, and you get 3 kills as gold, it dont say you are better at the game than the rest of your team.
Dont know if that sytuations happend to you, but i had feeding winston who had gold medals and was using it as example why he is good and everyoen else was bad. But all he was doing was feeding other team by jumping in alone without any coordination with rest of the team and yes killing occasionaly something, but then die himself and letting support heal up what was dmg by him before team got to the fight.

Your problem is that you return to your team if they are low. That is wasted time to get more damage out. Let the other healer heal while you carry.

The first step to climbing is not assuming you’re doing everything right. After every lost team fight find 1 thing you could have done better.
Also medals are largely meaningless

Medals are 't meaningless. And if they where. Why doesn’t Blizzard remove them???
My K/D ratio is like 20/1. That’s just insane if tou ask me. So gold kills aren’t useless.
Damage means im doing more damage than a DPS. Not sure if it means im good, but it means my DPS are useless.
And healing… Well I always have gold healing. So im good with that as well.
I Never had the death medal (idk how it looks like lol), so I don’t die more than my teammates.
Objective kills means I make the right kills.
Most of the time I don’t have objective time. But that’s because im flanking.
This says a lot about my gameplay. And to me it seems like that’s all good.
There is not such thing as death medal, its for kills, objective kills, dmg, healing, objective time
Nothing show if you die less or more than rest of your team.

I was losing games for pretty much 4 days in a row with some awful teams, but today I won all 5 games I played, and my quality of teammates was noticably better.
There’s a weird pattern in this game where winning too many games will make you lose, until your losses turn into some of the best wins of your life, and some REALLY easy games. This happens in both QP and Comp.
Just keep playing, dude.

Are you new to the game by any chance then? Also there is circle showing death symbol insted of space for medal if i remember right. I stop looking at that long time ago.
