I don’t know what the Hell is happening this season.
Pretty much every support or dps game there’s at least one, sometimes two, utter humps on my team. As in tank with 0-6 kd, etc. Both my dps on negative kd and both enemy dps on circa 30-1 kd. Etc etc
I’m on circa 15-20% win rate on those roles.
But tank? Almost universally excellent team mates who are miles better than the enemy. Even when I tried Ramattra out and went 10-11 kd, my team nearly pulled it back.
When I play a tank I’m decent on, I’m on circa 80% wr.
If I’m utter dog water on support and dps, and causing my tank to feed uncontrollably and be 0-6 end first round mecha base, then surely I need to be facing worse opposition?
If I’m so utter dog water that I’m the worst ow2 player ever, then surely, as it’s Quickplay, I should get some better team mates to carry me, like I get on tank. To get this mystical 50% win rate.
I honestly don’t know why I’m getting lumbered with utter noobs in 2 of my 3 roles.
Mm must know by now that I’m not good enough to carry them. Put them on the other team ffs.
And, then of course, Widow. Utter AIDS to play against. Playing hiding watch isn’t fun at all.

This is just anecdotal, but I’ve noticed that if I queue All-Roles, the games are a cluster-truck. On both sides. Even a win is just because the other team was just doing ridiculous things.
But, if I queue a particular role, say Support. Then the there is a marked difference in the quality of the match.
I sussssspect that Blizz is just forcing the All-Roles on everyone, by tying it to the daily BP completion, and then giving it an almost insta-queue to keep player engagement high, but at the expense of any real match-making.
Where if you do a selective role, it takes a tiny bit longer, but matches people up a “little” better.
Just a guess on my part, but that’s how it feels to me anyhow.

Hmmm. Maybe. I get tank through flex, as well as the other 2.
But, might be worth a try. The support and dps games are just garbage this season.
it is even worse when someone who obviously new to overwatch says to someone like me that i am a bad tank when i have like 24 elims 4k dmg 17k mit and potg

I queue specifically supp/dps, because when i all-queue all i get is tank and I can’t stand it. I have been unable to win more than 1 or 2 games every single day for about a week until today, exactly. (Ive won 3 out of 10, lmfao)
Not exaggerating, about a whopping 80-90% loss ratio despite playing for a few hours.
It has seriously been like every game my team has been low rank/newbie potatoes vs a coordinated, well-executed stack. If we started to win, something would just click and we suddenly would start to lose with no comeback or it was a complete stomp.
It’s been exhausting honestly. Tanks running with no LOS. Dps couldn’t kill an unarmed gerbil in a cage. Healers more concerned with dps’ing than healing. I had a game last night with a lucio who im pretty sure was just trolling/int’ing. Died a ton, next to no healing, next to no dps, no kills, did virtually nothing the entire game. Dead weight. Same with a kiriko I had. And tanks. And dps. It’s been horrible. No matter what I played.

if you want more stability while queuing with randoms when you see someone working well with you and it ends in victory add them making friends to queue with so you stop queuing with randoms
i should suggest they triple the friends list because i often have to remove people from my friends list to add others so i said 1mo or more offline you get replaced i have a full friends list almost all the time

and many stopped playing when overwatch 2 became f2p and we had a infestation of abusive trolling people appear in our matches

Eh i feel like this community isnt great for making friends. Maybe thats just me, i made way more (and better) friends playing csgo & league. Here I’ve never even met anyone remotely interesting and comfortable to play more than a few games with.

I’ve noticed this as well. I went like 1-15 the other day on support and while I wasn’t always playing incredibly, my dps were getting consistently outclassed in a way I couldn’t make up for. Weird because it was fine the day before.
It’s just qp so I don’t care about losing but like, what was that matchmaker?
On the other side dps games were mostly stomps and I got games quicker than support half the time.
