Oh! That makes me feel less crazy, my instant thought when Brigitte came out was that she and Pharah would make for an interesting pair, and at the very least, form a strong friendship based on the shared relationship they have with Reinhardt and similar interests.
Most of my ships (and the ones I ship the strongest) are fairly popular but the least would probably be Sombra/D.Va and Junkrat/Mei.
Sombra and D.Va really just because they’re (though, not so much D.Va anymore) two of my mains and their aesthetics match well and of course the gamer/hacker interactions would be funny and make for good chemistry but I could also see them ultimately being compatible. Junkrat and Mei…well, there’s the fire and ice thing and their in-game interactions of course contributed heavily and as in the former ship, their conflict would be terribly amusing yet I could see it actually weirdly working too.
Genji and roadhog, two silent, deadly, nice people sitting together and just… chilling.

For whatever reason I read that as “Rein and the hamster,” and now I can’t unsee the images that played in my head in response.
And now I might need therapy. XD
Anyway, not much into the shipping thing, but I feel like Ashe could have some interesting pairings. Ashe x Junkrat might be crazy enough to work. I mean, she’d need to be the dominant one in any relationship, and Junkrat would totally be the dope who thinks he’s in charge but actually isn’t (no where near it).
Plus, ya know, love of explosives brings people together. <3

I really liked how Torbjorn and Bastion’s relationship evolved throughout the game’s lifespan, it was one of those glimmers of lore that we saw both in comics and in game, where at first we were made aware of Torbjorn’s hatred for that which he created, but in the comics after saving Bastion, he invited them into their home.
In-game, his “ironclad” buff would imply that Torbjorn made some upgrades for him, and to see that kind of lore bleed into the game really made me happy.

Doomcio : Doomfist and Lucio, Idk why but i like the idea of Doomfist being utterly shocked that someone still cares deeply for him and how affectionate he would be. It would be nice to see the usually stoic man show so much love and compassion. I feel like lucio would be the one to break through to him.
Roadhog x Mei: Simple broken dark man who has done things that people would not even be in the same building with meets sweet girl that despite going through her own dark times still somehow manages to keep it all together with a smile.
I like to think Roadhog is simply smitten by Mei pureness.

Lucio is a freedom fighter and sombra is as independent as they come. I think they would get on quite well with moments of synchronization in phrases

I think pharah acts like her mom but thinks more like rein. And brig thinks like her dad, she acts like rein, but her conclusion and words are more ana. Kind of like… You listen more to people not your parents basically? Lol
