Getting a position like Alyssa Wong has at Blizzard?
Apparently being famous is enough judging by the last short story.
I remember seeing a recent job listing, but it looks like it has already been filled.
For the most part you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as literature or creative writing, and most likely you would have to already have experience by delivering at least one previous AAA title for a major video game or other media company.
Always keep an eye on for available positions on Blizzard’s official career web page:
And also be sure to follow their career and lifestyle Twitter feed at @LifeAtBlizzard.
Yikes, looks like I’m still a long way off then…,
Regardless, thanks Wyoming
If this is a path that you are interested in, study hard, play hard, and learn everything you can. If you are in college, be sure to keep an eye out for possible intern opportunities which should be appearing within the next two months for the upcoming 2020 summer Blizztern program.
I thought the only requirement was to know how to make michael chus coffee for him to drink while he retcons more d.va lore?
Sadly I’m not in a monetarily sound position to venture into college just yet lmao
I suppose for the time being I’ll be content with writing fan fictions, and should they be proven baseless due to actual lore developments, then so be it
And that is not bad place to start. I also encourage you to try and come up with your own unique stories as well. Be sure to create content and be willing to share it, receive constructive feedback, seek opportunities, and build your social network.
I’ll be sure to do just that, after all, I am working on a short story for Sigma right now
