What part of I need healing do supports not get

I swear some of you have a god complex. If someone is not playing the game exactly how you want you won’t heal it’s getting old

Important advice:

Don’t piss off the guy who is supposed to keep you alive.

what part of get some elims because your being out played that you dont get.

I love the blame game. back in the day there was a certain level of respect and class granted to support mains.

how many hours on support do you have? If your blaming supports for loosing, you simply are less skilled then the other teams DPS players. SWITCH TO SUPPORT have humility to realize you are the weakest link on a team.

What part of ‘I need Help’ do Damage and tanks not understand?

I swear some of you have a god complex. If someone is not playing the game exactly how you want you won’t peel it’s getting old.

the issue Is the locked in role. back in ow1 if a player realizes they are out matched they switch to support. It used to be the biggest game adjustment . hmm IM not getting elims and simply being out played by the other team. I will bow my head and switch roles to support … maybe they are a better dps than I…?

Because Supports See The Game Better Than U Do, They Can See Where Everyone Is, They Can See That The Entire Team Is Split Up And Not Grouped Up, So If U Dont Play The Way They Want, Then It Might Be An Issue Of They Cant Heal Not Wont, Sorry To Break It To You, But Chances Are That Ur Not The Most Important Or Valuable Player On The Team So Ur Not Going To Get That Pocket Heal

you do not determine the priority of heals. If you WANT to choose who gets hels first, you can put your big boy pants on and play support yourself.

support is the least populated role, and has been for some time. This means those people still playing support often have a LOT of experience telling them which characters are more valuable to keep alive.

pretty much… its seriously not that hard to fall back to your healer when you need a heal. think of it as a moving health pack. while ur at it protect them and GO GET SOME BLOODY ELIMS. if kiriko/ana has triple your elims they are not neglecting healing… you just have worse mechanics and skill.

Did you know that if you play support yourself you have all the healing you want?

I have a rule. if you’re not going to help keep the flankers from wiping out your backline every two minutes, you can find a health pack

Fun fact, supports can’t heal through walls or spawn, if your not in their Los they can’t heal you either.
Group up with your supports, protect them and they can heal you.

if you keep spamming “i need healing” guess who iam not gonna heal

Had this with a Pharah earlier. They’re hiding under Eichenwalde bridge, spamming need healing when both heals are on payload keeping the tank up, a bee’s dick from that 2nd check point…while fighting off being romped by Doomfist and the entire other team. I mean for real either go get a health pack or come and play the game.

I main D.va, Sombra and Mercy and have for years. I understand both sides. Of course I get the support struggle, but I don’t want to pretend like every player is good at the role— whether they’re purposefully not healing or actually just lack game sense and prioritization honestly just depends on the circumstances. I’ve had several comp games where I’ve pulled the highest stats in the lobby as tank, but my Moira was in the enemy backline and my feeding Mercy swapped to Lucio, and we just couldn’t pull it together with so little healing coming through. I’ve had (also comp) games where I really was getting work done as tank, and after we won the team fight I’d fly back and ask my Mercy for heals, but she completely ignored me and kept her glock out… even when there were no enemies left to fight. It does happen… but honestly, there are problems for both roles. I’ve also definitely had absolutely awful tanks/DPS. That being said, I still healed them and supported them, but it didn’t make much difference. It does get incredibly frustrating when I actually am in position, or fly back to my team (asking for heals from Narnia with 4 buildings between you and your supports is silly of course) and ask to be healed up and am totally ignored.

Everything runs smoother when we all play our role and make the most of our heroes’ kits.

Ego healers are as annoying as people with this energy.

A little more context would be nice, OP. It’d also be nice for people in this thread who immediately assume OP is in the wrong cuz he’s talking about Supports.

Personally I think it’s very telling that people’s first assumption is that op is doing something wrong. I play a ton of support and know Ana and Kiriko’s limits especially. The responses in this thread tell how many supports still play too far back to expect to be babysat. People are especially guilty of this playing Push. The extra spite an refusal to acknowledge they’re just not doing enough is on the rise it seems. As more and more blame to 5v5 and tanks or even DPS not babysitting supports playing a mile away from the objective begging to be flanked where it would take ages for me to reach them. With turning my back against the enemy Frontline typically being a stupid idea.

It’s fine and dandy if you think the individual spamming I Need Healing is in the wrong. But if this happens to you regularly, you’re probably the toxic support not playing well and blaming others.

It’s honestly disgusting how one sided the blame game is on the forums. Just in general this seems to be the attitude. Claiming supports are weak respawn simulators, which they’re not. And the rude attitude toward tanks and DPS that dared to ask desperately for you to heal them.

Well if you don’t want to play the right way then you don’t get my heals. I save heals for people playing properly.

Exactly, all of that energy you’re spending to figure out how to blame the other 4 members of the team is better used actually participating in the match

Nice attempt to poison the well, but if you have some awareness it doesn’t take any energy to recognise when someone on your team is feeding their brains out or getting zero value, and understanding these things will help you perform better.
