What metal is genji made of and can it rust?

I know there’s a skin for genji called chrome and chronium can’t really rust, so if anyone knows what metal or alloy genji’s armour or body suit is made of please tell me.

Nobody knows, but we do know it’s strong enough to take a direct punch from Doomfist’s Gauntlet into a car and keep him alive.

I’d also think it does not rust.

I’d also be questioning what the Doomfist Gauntlet is made out of, since it can level a skyscraper and channel high amounts of voltage.

Clearly … PAPER or Alluminium yes Genji always looks like a Kid in a Paper or Alluminium suit for me

And yes im a Genji Hater i never liked his Design

could be made out of graphene

Is Graphene a safe material?

I’d imagine Genji’s suit would have to be made out of a metal non-hazardous to humans.

now his armor doesn’t even rust?!

blatant favoritism again!

Stainless steel or titanium. Usually stainless steel is used for surgery, like hip replacements etc.

Silver and gold don’t rust either, but are pretty soft compared to other metals.

yea, i guess - they were planning to put it on surface of light materials… but somehow conglomerate of mining companies and their tech lab that scientists worked on this got cut, scientist who discovered methods of producing it on industrial scale got removed and everything fell apart… so everything stopped

In that case Graphene could make sense, Genji being a ninja would need to have his body made out of light-weight metal.

Counting that it can survive a punch from Doomfist’s Gauntlet, means it would have to be really strong.

Probably some kind of titanium alloy. Titanium is really strong, light, and to answer your question, doesn’t rust.

Maybe unobtainium since it can’t really break

Probably flexible carbon fibre and some polymer plastic that can flex easily and not break.

graphene is very light, very hard, flexible… it WILL bring progress to humanity, but as it is usually here we got problems that nobody know why even errupt

Is titanium flexible though?

Since that is one of the deciding factors, Genji has to be flexible as a ninja.

A little carbon fiber with titanium playing would do the trick. Also stainless steel instead of titanium is a possibility, it’s used a lot in surgeries and bone replacements

Considering Genji CONSTANTLY needs healing I think the outer shell is some form of organic material that just maintains the illusion of metal. Heck I think he’s probably made of tears and regret…

Tin foil, duct tape, and salty tears.

In actuality, I’d love to know exactly what. Maybe it’s from a new metal we haven’t found/created yet?

it could be an mixture of titanium, stainless steel, and osmium

What is osmium?

osmium is the most dense element on the planet, thus, very very durable, but also stupidly heavy, so its good for things that take a lot of abuse, but are small, like fountain pens, but since genji has some enhanced strength, they may have added osmium to his suit for absorbing shock.
as a note, osmium is, by volume, 5 times heavier than titanium
