Honestly, I’d remember Taiga better than that. Isn’t it named after either your cat or a character in something?

Yep  (wth to whoever edited this though)

Where’s Amber Dragon from, that sounds neat

I like dragons, and Dragon Quest is my favourite game series (probably the thing that I would put for this topic), plus I used to have a bearded dragon called Amber, so I just went with that.

I never got into Dragon Quest/Warrior, I was more on the Final Fantasy side of RPGs my whole life, but I always heard good things about the series; which one would you recommend as a first game?

99% Chance those threads are what’s giving me gray hairs. :joy:

Probably defending Doom and slightly noob opinions lol

My personal favourite is IX (9), but that’s ds exclusive, so I’m just waiting for a remake, in my opinion, VIII (8, and my second favourite) is the best one, it’s on the 3ds, mobile, and ps2. You can get XI (11) on steam, that one‘s the newest And even though the story has some similarities to 3, it’s easily enjoyable and is my 3rd favourite one.

I’m pretty sure final fantasy connects similarly with other games to dragon quest where even though the games can be played individually, they do connect to other ones.

Funny thing is, in America, Dragon Quest was known as Dragon Warrior due to copyright issues with a d/n/d style game called dragon quest, and was only officially known as Dragon Quest for the first time with VIII

This comment proves I like Dragon Quest too much.

 I’ve started seeing more of them lately and have been ignoring most of them. Maybe it’s a good sign that Forum Tracer is resurfacing a little though. :joy:

Never played Dragon quest but I like bearded dragons and D&D
Roll20 has been a godsend during the pandemic so I can still play D&D

In a way, they really just share similar monster types and themes like crystals, fate, and the same bosses and NPCs in various games as ongoing traditions but each mainline numbered game is separate world and characters and story, except the few that have sequels (7:Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core, 10-2, 13-2, 13:lightning returns)

Basically there’s some world connections, and monsters are almost always shared game-to-game, like the slimes and cruelcumbers, but there are some which are connected in trilogies, like how the first three chronologically run in the order 3,1,2.

I’m right. Constantly. I can think of one other user who is consistently accurate and correct- that being Jaeger, who I idolise. I have made many support/tank mains speechless with my arguments. I am the Ben Shapiro of Overwatch- my opinions and beliefs are always correct, and I can argue as well as I can play the game.

I also can argue as well as I play that game, that’s why I’m in gold!

I’m very persistent :stuck_out_tongue:

Makes me a pain to talk to :joy:

I love to argue also
I shall tell you why D’Va is #1 and be right every time
