What makes you stay with OW2?

I stay for the mythic skin levels on bp and loot box surprise rewards.

My friends who still want to play it. And the only thing that has my interest as of now is the galaxy weapon variants, so did my comp placement matches to do the drive weekend. Honestly only play a few times a week now vs. every day.

I hate the game but this hatred lets me feel something

I much prefer the forum to the game. I’ll uninstall if my buddy does. I might not play, but can’t commit to uninstalling. I enjoy a few qp games per week with a friend.

First and foremost, Juno and D.Va. Love those girls! :heart_hands: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :sparkling_heart: :heart_on_fire: :gift_heart:

Secondly, all the other characters I play: Echo, Pharah, Mauga, Bastion, Illari, Lifeweaver, LucĂo, Wrecking Ball, Reinhardt, etc. They the best!

Next, all the awesome skins! So many of them! :face_holding_back_tears:

The Mercy Mains. Rarely do I feel “love” inside a video game. :heartpulse: :innocent:  :medical_symbol:

Lastly, the community. The interactions I have before, during and after games are irreplaceable. :heart_hands: :revolving_hearts: :handshake:

I like logging into a game where I can play a healer, without all the leveling/gearing up needed to be competitive.

It’s really that simple. There’s just a level of gameplay fluidity other PVP games don’t have. Rivals just isn’t quite there for me. And that’s kind of a problem when gameplay is the reason I play… Games

I think you should mark sarcasm, my friend, nobody actually believes this

The PvP gameplay loop. Out of all the offering out there, including MR, it just hits the right buttons for some reason.

Dont confuse my enthusiasm for sarcasm :rage:

I have fun playing the game. Enjoy unlocking goodies in the bpass and now lootboxes. But main thing is enjoying the combat. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t play it for any other reason.

I still have fun using my mains. And ow has always been a good warm up training game before moving on to higher skilled games in my library.

At the same time I take numerous breaks from this game. Especially when I finish the BP I don’t play this game for weeks.

I like the ease of hopping in a game, playing a few rounds then logging off. It’s very simple and straight forward, not a lot of set up. Same reason I enjoy fighting games I guess

I occasionally also play like an mmo and some old rts games on the side so sometimes it’s nice to just play something that doesn’t take long to set up or grind etc. like these games. Granted, I am looking forward to stadium but I guess that means ow will have another reason for me to play if I end up liking it who knows

I’m also hoping & coping for workshop updates

A few things

I’m still trying to climb ranks and reach a rank I can feel satisfied with.

I’m hoping to be playing when/if they release a balance patch where they accidentally make the game almost perfect, before quickly ruining it with bad changes.

I’m still waiting for them to release good permanent PvE.

I feel like I need breaks more and more often. The heroes are fun to play, in a vacuum, but actual PvP gameplay can become very unfun very quickly. The issues either don’t get fixed or get made even worse (some players even support letting these issues exist or be made even worse). If we had some good permanent PvE, I wouldn’t even need to take breaks from OW, just from PvP.

100 percent with you on this one PvP is little to no fun…this is why enjoy coop games so much

The characters and their gameplay.
I don´t know any other game where I can play characters like Wrecking Ball, Junkrat or Moira but I find all the heroes interesting and unique and for me it´s fun as every match is different. Normally I´m not into FPS-Games but OW got me hooked since 2017.
They introduce new maps and heroes every other season and new ways to play the game and said heroes which is fun to me. With Hero-Perks and the upcoming Stadium there are also new ways to experience the game.
Long story short, I still enjoy the gameplay, the characters and how the game works.

Every time I leave, I watch a short video about one of my favorite heroes doing something great makes me want to do it but then I face reality again.

Chronic depression. I don’t want to know what happens if I quit entirely.

I had a long hiatus recently, but I was playing Paladins in the meanwhile, and now Paladins has ended. Sad state of affairs. I considered Rivals, but I’m not into Marvel really.
