What is your aim sensitivity at on Console and why?

I use 100/100 since I can react in the quickest time possible no matter the senario, but what do you use? I am excluding PC because you guys can get your sensitivity so high it isn’t worth using as you can’t control it. Is there any reason to use a lower sensitivity on console?

100/100 on mercy
75/75 on Ana
90/90 everyone else

Because I use i believe linear ramp which affects the sensitivity so I needed to turn it down a bit for everyone but mercy, Ana is 75 75 because I completely found using either or both aim assists just messes up your aim so much it’s never something you should use on her

100/100 in anything that benefits from movement/ does need to aim (mercy, rein, winston, moira, genji)

80/85 everything else, its fast enough for me to turn quickly, but slow enough i don’t miss because I overaimed

100/75 on most heroes but I fine-tune it sometimes.

I also use kontrol freek’s official ow analog nubs. It helps.

Also free advertising ftw ¯\ _ ( ) _ /¯

Edit: I forgot the other things related to aim assit but I change those all the time, right it’s at 50 aim soothness and 90 assist strength with 70 window size, 0 ease-in I think.

Do you know how it works? I have no idea what it does, mine is on whatever the default is.

Does turning it down 5 make a big difference to you? What does it help with for you?

What does it help with specifically and is it worth investing in for a more casual player?

How do you guys can play with such a high sensitivity on controllers?

I already gave up playing on the consoles because I don’t get a single shot with Mcree or Ashe or any other even at the lowest possible sensitivity.

My dream is OW 2 to support cross play between PCs and consoles and to support mouse natively. Logically separating the players between mouse and controller.

In addition to increasing the community, it would also kill cheaters using an alternative mouse on consoles.

And I could finally migrate 100% to the console.

100/100

It’s fast and lets me react super fast. I don’t play Widow, Ana or Ashe though.

On McCree it lets me chain headshots really well

Aim smoothing makes a big difference trust me

I am a rein main, so there is that. I have played on 100/100 for about 1.5 years now, so that also helps.

Maybe this is why he is my favorite dps, he always just feels good to play with 100/100.

I’m more asking what difference though? I have little to no experience with the fine tunings of aim, I adjust the main sensitivity and that is it pretty much

I believe it’s 60/50? Except for Genji who’s 65/65?

I’ve been slowly ramping it up over time when things start to feel sluggish.

It is basically what it says. It makes your aim less smooth so you can flick which is essential imo.

Yeah, McCree with the higher sens is really fun. I can also go from playing “the floor is BOMBS” to whipping around and killing a flanker on Junk, landing any whipshot I please on Brig, and Wrecking Ball… Heheheheheheh.

And yes on Rein and Brig spinning like 180° while swinging is hilarious and cruel, poor Tracers don’t even know what to do about it

Im a constant Diamond and peaked all time at 3506

My General sensitivity is 30/30
But thats mostly for all the heroes I DONT play. Although All Support Heroes except Mercy Ana is 30/30. My mercy is 40/40, Ana is 50/50, Sym is 44/44, Ashe is 55/55 and Widow is 70/70 (I dont play a lot of widow though lol)

That’s good, I just went straight from 35/35 to 80/80 then slowly up to max. It threw me for a loop for a little while.

Interesting, I will have to play with it a little. Maybe I could be an okay widow instead of just bad.

I have hit way to many Tracers with this, they have no idea what happened since you can spin back front fast enough there team can’t even use that chance to push

You still have relatively low sensitivity compared to the rest of us in the thread, what does the lower sensitivity help with in your opinion? Would you recommend a lower sensitivity for players?

I will have to check them out then

Well it’s not gonna make you a god or anything of course but it’s feels better to play at higher sensitivities specially, I definitely notice the difference when playing without it now sometimes. Heck I use it for all games now too tbh, was playing rdr2 with it and the analogs just feel more soft for everything, in a good way.
I’m not hardcore comp player but I do play ow almost everyday and I am happy with the investment.

Dang that is really slow. 100 100 is essential to me for playing her. But your setting seems to be working better for you than my 100 100 since you’re mid diamond and im on the brink of being in gold haha

(Also i have to say it drives me crazy when i see mercys In the POTG or in replays who turn slow as a sloth haha)

PC has it’s own and different cheaters problem though. That’s what worries me the most but since I’m always 100% behind crossplay, I would be okay with if they do it like paladins where you can choose to play between k+m & controller or just controller.

Default is dual zone

Here’s a video explaining Linear ramp and Aim smoothing as well as somewhat comparing linear vs exponential
