So me and my duo are Silver 1 and gold 2 respectively, which means we aren’t eligible for a wide queue. We just loaded into a game and the rank gap was Bronze 1 and Plat 5. Which is a wide queue. That is a 16 rank gap last time I checked. Then it says at the end when showing our loss demerits, that it was a wide match. Why?? If me and my duo aren’t classed as a wide group, why are we ending up in queues with that big a gap. Thats 4 whole ranks near enough. Someone explain how that’s fair.

Had a friend playing solo, the rank range was bronze to diamond lol. The problem is everyone quit

Maybe the phrase ‘Wide Match’ is supposed appear even if you weren’t a wide group wihtin yourselves aslong as the match is wide, am I right?
Had 2 games yesterday that were bronze to masters. On stream, w screenshots. 6 entire ranks. I could barely focus i was so disgusted and confused.

haha duo and I had 4 games Bronze 1 to Plat 3… He is gold I am high plat on my smurf account. Game is 100% dead now…

Well, the game needs players playing in the first place. Maybe there are simply not enough players for reasonable queue times within the same ranks. I think people would complain and leave the game in droves with 20 minute queues. A necessary evil.
Ive seen people in top 500 getting into matches within their actual ranks but with an hour or so queue time. They’re capable of it they’re just choosing to do quicker wait times. I personally wouldnt mind waiting a while if it means the match is fair. One good game that took ages to be put in is better than 3 poorly arranged games that took 2 minutes imo.
