What is up with the sweat in QP?

I literally can’t get a QP where it’s calm and nice, every QP is sweaty and heated.

People be 5 stacking using comms and everything, working like a team 24/7 peeling for their supports.

Why are people desperately trying to win in QP? It wasn’t like this in OW1, everyone was like “its just QP bro”, but now everyone is sweating their balls off to win??

And of course, I get the worst possible teammates, while the enemy team has 3 tanks and 2 healers, I get 4 or 3 DPS and I have to pick Tank or Healer for us to even stand a chance.

Am I the only one experience this or what? I swear this never used to happen THIS often before.

It was like that in Overwatch 1 too, trust me.

the enemy teams might be premades, which would explain their coordination. i don’t think we can tell if they are.

Yeah QP is surprisingly sweaty sometimes and toxic too
Not that different from comp at all usually

If it’s “sweaty” to play to win, and you’re not “sweating your balls off,” why are you worried about not winning?

Bro I swear I had this enemy Bap earlier who was doing more damage than both his DPS, I was Hog and he was completely melting me each time.

He must’ve been mad sweating to land constant headshots like that, as a SUPPORT.

That’s kinda the risk you take if you do open queue. If it bothers you that much, just do role.

Sure, QP is a more relaxed mode, but if people get the most enjoyment out of it by playing to win… hows that such a bad thing?

There are definitely a bunch of premades going around at the moment and idk if quick play has some sort of match making system? But then there are definitely some very quiet confused matches going on too lol. Its a rollercoaster

It’s not a bad thing, it’s just the fact that they have to try so hard, then spam “ez” “cry” “L” in your face every time

I feel you’re conflating playing to win, or just plain playing the game, and being toxic. Report the latter, don’t sweat the former.

You’re making a lot of assumptions about the enemy team just because you lost. I’ve been in some insane victories as a solo queuer. Just utter humiliation, camping right outside their spawn the whole game. I wasn’t trying especially hard, it was just that easy. That’s a matchmaking issue, not the enemy’s fault for trying too hard.

Bro reporting does nothing, absolutely nothing at all, they never do anything about these players.

They also don’t read, nor respond to these posts. Reporting is, sadly, your only real recourse. The more people realize that and the more reports the behavior starts stacking up, the more likely something will actually be done about it.

Oof. You should be reported for that terrible pun. I think I pulled a muscle in my eyesocket from rolling my eyes so hard.

It still feels like OW1 for me, stomp or be stomped lol still not very fun, especially as a support main.

Sounds like you should pick RQ to avoid that.

I had this guy spamming n words in chat the other day, I reported him of course, he was doing it for like 6 matches, I still haven’t received a message saying “thank you for reporting”

How is this okay? How?

Battlepass challenges.

It’s not. But it’s all we have.

It’s not.

But it’s also an automated system. A single report isn’t likely going to cause action (mostly because it makes false reporting too easy). If no other reports against that person happen, then unfortunately nothing will happen.

Edit: Also, I woulda reported the same person in each of those separate games. That’s 6 separate occasions.
