Whatever makes you mad in Overwatch, I wanna hear it! Whether it be unpopular or not!

(Mine is Mei and Sombra. Absolutely tilts me in a match regardless if we won because I hate CC and how rage inducing there are, really anticipating the rework lol)

The Devs fear to take chances on changes and how infrequent the changes are. Things like not splitting Mystery heroes and trying one limit, and seeing what the outcome is. Instead, they are so passive on trying things, to the point where everyone suffers.

I’m not saying get crazy about changes, but I’m saying trying something different ISNT that bad. But given what we’ve seen from Blizzard, they are so scared of moving up and down buffs/changes, that they play it safer then the boy in the bubble.

Wanting to play my favorite builder hero at hero select, someone else sitting in spawn as a result from that, and seeing a reported alert on me once round starts.

Overwatch, a nice game about diversity.

Achievements. yup that is what anger me most now.

To not only respond to you, but the guy above you, a reason I’m taking a break from Overwatch is the painful lack of balancing and update time. 3 months for an update where they want to have this game be competitive is NOWHERE close to enough, and the changes aren’t adequate either. Torb and Bastion have been F tier for 2 years and nobody has done anything.

trying to play mccree, then after a few lives of things getting insta-healed from across the map and killing me, and shooting aimlessly at shields, i swap to hanzo and we instantly start rolling.

i’m not even a good hanzo, and i have over 15x the amount of time on mccree (and the historical winrates to show). but when one is so obviously better than the other in every situation it kind of rubs me the wrong way.

People who criticize you for dying when they’re not doing their job, whether it’s:

Tanks not being frontline and protecting the team

Healers pocketing their squad only/going offensive only/complete lack of situational awareness

Dps not killing…anything. Particularly pharmercy

Hanzo (in my opinion) power creeped WAY past more McCree, a more adequate wording would be ā€œpower sprintedā€ past him. Why play character with a reload time, no mobility, no quick damage, a pitiful stun, when you can pick somebody that can pump out way more damage, climb walls, see enemies, and ult is directly better in the meta?

yeah it’s pretty ridiculous. i’m not saying i’m pine or anything, but i was a gold hanzo at best before the changes and now my hanzo is way more effective than the hero i have the most time on in this game, seemingly no matter what i do.

he’s really warping the game around him and i have no idea how he hasn’t been nerfed harder than he has yet… there’s nothing on the PTR either.

Cuz, quite simply, mccree is easier. Hanzo May have higher damage output but mccree is literally point and click. Anything that gets too close to him is a free kill with the stun, and while he has to reload, he doesn’t have to charge shots either, plus has the free reload from roll.

Become the Libero you always dreamed of being.

Lore pace. It’s like molasses moving up a sheer cliff.

Heroes of the Storm, which only started lore in May, has the same amount of lore that Overwatch has after two years.

mccree is way harder than hanzo to make work in this meta. to justify the pick you basically have to click all the heads in the small windows of opportunity you get, otherwise you’re ineffectually pinging away at shields and feeding.

also hanzo has way more survivability with a better hitbox, more mobility, and more intimidating burst. mccree instantly dies if more than one person looks at him. if you want a stunbot you should really be brig instead, and if you want midrange burst you should be hanzo.

I disagree. His free reload is on 8 seconds, and looks pitiful in the eyes of Hanzo’s lunge. McCree is harder to play than Hanzo, because Hanzo is more one shot and less of a skill cap, with Storm Arrow easing on the aim and him being able to flick Pharah’s or Tracers into the shadow realm.

I’m this meta perhaps, yeah. But as a hero id still say hanzo is harder

Yeah. McCree got powercreeped hard with the addition of Spam the Arrow and lunge, not to mention the increased arrow speed. Combine that with his off meta status and whup, he’s horrible now.

That the game is nowhere near E-Sports ready but they rush E-Sports, then proceed to balance the game around pros:

If pros don’t find this an issue = this isn’t an issue for 99% of the player base (look at brig)

Lack of transparency on anything they’re working on/considering: suddenly telling us about the LFG, endorsement and role select features but when the hell did they mention they were even looking at that? (also applies to brig, we have no idea if they’re even looking at nerfing her because since the last ā€˜nerf’ they haven’t mentioned her since)

Calling this game a ā€˜team game’ while strongly encouraging people to pick dps over tanks and heals: More and more nerfs on tanks and healers while dps constantly receive buffs/reworks. Tank is the most painful and least fun role to play right now yet they never mentioned they’ll be buffing/changing them any time soon.

i think mccree is easier than scatter hanzo but way harder than storm hanzo. (but i’m also no good at projectiles.)

he just has so much in his kit to guarantee he doesn’t die while doing pretty much everything he used to do.
