What is the overwatch logo meant to be?

I always thought it was meant to look like a peace symbol, but I saw something recently that said it was an O and a W. What do you think it’s meant to be?

I think it’s meant to be whatever you want it to be. Overwatch was a symbol of peace and hope. It represents the world. The logo should follow suit, looking like whatever people want it to represent.

It’s a big “O” with a stealthy “W” thrown in the middle of the inner circle :slight_smile:

I always thought it was a neat way to shorten its name. Overwatch - OW :blush:

I figured it was just something meaningless. That is better for symbols anyway, since you can attach whatever meaning you want without fighting prior uses.

During early OW, I heard it was two hands coming together. kind of a symbol of cooperation.
