Personally my least favorite is Flashpoint. I don’t like the emptiness of the maps with the long trek to get into the action. I feel that Clash is a better representation of what Flashpoint was going for, a faster, non-stop action version of Control. I’ve seen discourse around the push gamemode, but I enjoy that one, it gives the losing team some kind of advantage with the robot moving toward their spawn, as well as providing multiple changing vantage points. Of all the gamemodes, I don’t have fun playing flashpoint. Straight up, all of my enjoyment goes out the window, into the street, and ran over by a bus.
I assume it is Trashpoint. The other new modes end so fast if there is a matchmaking discrepancy, but you have to play the ENTIRE thing out in Trashpoint.
flashpoint the maps are way too big even with the speed boost and it should end after 2 points captured games just take too long
I used to hate Flaspoint for the long games.
But I hate more Clash’s short games than those, you queue like 10 minutes with people for a game to be A/E captured instantly due to 1 player giving up or leaving the game.
The “dad beats his kids” ones
Control due to rounds
Flashpoint, Push, and Clash - Their awfulness speak for themselves.
I like the layout of the Flashpoint maps. Its like navigating a labyrinth. I also like how u can accidentally run into enemy players by accident. But yeah, Flashpoint is likely the most hated due to the “walking simulator” aspect.
Of those to i think clash is worse, flash has a series of objectives scattered on map, clash your essentially walking down a hallway. But they are both terrible concept. Flash sucks cause you can easily stagger and get separated, based on spawn cycle and like clash it has minimum time for counter play and objective. Clash sucks cause there is no counter play over an objective.
Some forum poster claimed, claimed clash was a high IQ game mode, i think it is the opposite. The longer a game is the more the accumulation of mistakes there are and the more focus required. I think Flash Point and Clash are both low IQ game modes.
Honestly, all the new game-modes that been added to OW2.
Push - Flash and now Clash.
Please bring back 2CP.
5v5 is the most hated game mode. totally ruined an otherwise great game.
Imagine if they’d put the energy from PvE and everything else into improving classic OW1?
They’d also have avoided all the negativity and backlash from the many years of abject failure. So there’d be a much healthier playerbase.
i think clash has overtaken push as the most hated mode like i hated clash when it was beta
Clash is kinda weird because you can end up feeling punished for taking the first two or three points. With the speed boost from spawns and Juno, Flash isn’t quite as bad as it was, so at this moment in time I’d say Clash is worse even though I really dislike FP’s walking simulator aspects.
Still, it could be worse. We could still have 2CP.
Main game mode is KOTH for me. All game modes CTF will always be my least favorite mode in gaming other than time trials.
Definitely the new modes that take forever. I prefer faster games over walking sims
game modes i hate are the “arena” type ones whatever their called where both teams fight over a single capture point
favorite modes are the ones where you attack/defend the payloads/robot
Two CP was the only mode I didn’t like, but even then, it was playable.
I don’t like Tinderwatch. Oh good god…the scars are still real…
I hate flashpoint and clash. King of the Hill is okay but Busan Shrine and City Centre alone drag it down.
Escort and the escort and 1 point mode is good.
I really liked 2CP to be honest but that’s just me.
Its Flash point for sure. I see entire lobby’s just up and leave during qp with no tanks filling in. and the team fights are just death matches most of the time, with way to much cover for the defenders after the chokes.
Push isn’t that bad, the team fights make enough sense. your not saturated with multiple angles to set up in and the concept of frontline/backline hold up well.
Clash is the same deal imo, good team fight potential, not to death matchy, just a stompfest.
How anyone can say ANYTHING other than Clash be beyond me! The longest round I had on clash was 5 minutes and on Hanaoka I had ZERO balanced games and never a match that lasted more than 3 minutes.
