Was driving today and I was thinking about the fandom made content about Overwatch from its hayday between 2016-2020. Besides the content from…. That site, what do you think would be the peak of the OW fandom.
To me, its gotta be the No Mercy song by Living Tombstone and its accompanying animation by Mashed.

I think that if I had to epitomize what it used to feel like playing OW back in the day, it would be that vid. Everything about it is perfect, from the teammate griefing vs the troll, that its both Widow and Mei arguing over who is worse, that neither of them decided to heal, to even the stupid team comps in the intro and the clutch mercy rez at the end. I think it really is the greatest thing that came out of this fandom.
Oh, and RacistWatch is hilarious. The type of stuff that made old Youtube.

Great minds think alike. I thought the same thing. I’ve always liked Reaper and Soldier bobbing their heads like Night at the Roxbury. 
DinoFlask helped make Jeff pretty likeable to the point where people excuse everything he has done to put this game behind.

My favorite has to be Toxic Hour by Tatiana Effect. The way she dubbed over the original OW Cinematic is so funny! 
And the LE SSERAFIM X OW2 Collab ‘Crazy’ Cosplay Music video by Coach WuFeng is pure art 
I liked the fan comics and the dubbing performed by Omahdon and his friends.
I especially liked the ones that had Reaper, Widowmaker, and Sombra in them. Talon fan comics in general were great because they turned the villain group into a group of coworkers, and, in some cases, a dysfunctional Latin-American family.

Are we seriously not going to talk about that website? You know what im talking about. The one with the funny number.
In a way, that stuff is one of the greatest things out of the OW fandom. This is true, whether one wants to admit it or not. They’ll be keeping OW alive in people’s minds, including people that dont even play the game, long after the games themselves have died. These goonblins that make this type of content contribute to OWs enduring popularity, for better or worse.
To be fair I did hint at …. “That site”.
