Why is everyone whining about widowmaker’s ability to one shot that actually requires skill to hit but ignores the fact that Roadhog can one shot any squishy with his combo that is much easier to land?
A combo is by definition not a one shot.

Hog can mess up
Hook requires a lot of accuracy and timing to perform the combo both getting the hook off and hitting the target, depending on the angle
Widow clapping people across the map is not at all relatable and serves a poor argument
but ill let other people clown this thread

Mostly because there’s a ton of CC and healing that can mess up the combo, and it’s on a long cooldown, and he has to be vulnerable to return attacks while doing it.
Not much counterplay to a Widow headshot
Put it on an 8sec cooldown, with a lot less range, then maybe.

There’s a lot that can happen after the hook that can save the hooked hero. Compare this to Widowmaker’s headshot, where’s nothing to be done except revive or respawn.
I mean one requires aim from a mile away, and one requires aim in close range? (with cooldown and interuptions)
