Can someone explain it to me? It seems to me that I can’t get his ultimate to work. I had some nice moments, when I got 3-4 kills, but most of the time enemies manage to hide somewhere.
I tried flanking or using it on high ground and often I get only 1, max 2 kills. Also, maybe it’s only me, but it happend a lot of times, when I get red skulls on enemies and shoot - they don’t die.
Well my questions are: should I be greedy about it and try to get as much kills as possible or is 1-2 kills enough? And how to get everything out of McCree’s ultimate and not die during it?
that’s using it effectivtly thats even if just a pick it scatters the enemy but using when the enemy
is getting into the mid fight isn’t always going to teamwipe that can be said for every ult not every genji blade is an 6k and not every ult need to wipe just needs to shift into your teams favor
there is no “right way” it is however one of the few flexible ults that has many uses.
Use it during overtime to zone out the enemy from approaching
Try to flank and pick off the supports
use it during a big teamfight to disorganize the enemy and get them to try and focus you while u kill them
rapid reload
Use it to secure a kill a fleeing enemy.
you it as a counter ult to an enemies. (Works great on rampaging winston you can take off a large chunk of his health or kill him even if he’s focusing you.
Its very situational but powerful, however having lots of room for user error
Confirm kill when target can’t hide but is far enough and low hp, Zone the enemy out, or simply to reload or to get mercy in the sky that’s using valk. Getting even a single kill while surviving yourself is considered a good trade for using his ult.
My problem, is when I think I’m safe and no one is looking at me and when I press Q almost everyone is turning at me and I’m getting killed or stunned lol

Well, that’s relief to me, I guess I’ve got to stop being too greedy about it
Your 1-2 kills just turned the fight into a 6v5 or 6v4, so don’t sweat it. Like it was said already, there are other reasons to ult than just securing as many kills as possible. Regardless, I would recommend getting D.Va out of her mech first, obviously. And try to wait out a Genji’s deflect. Also, try using it in combination with other Ults like Graviton, Gravitic Flux, Blizzard, EMP, etc.
