More specifically, for someone who’s learning to play without aim assist and is used to how normal fps’ play. For example, I play Halo Infinite when I’m not playing OW 2 and I would like to use an aim technique that makes aiming feel more similar to that game. If you can’t give me a recommendation, an explanation for what each aim technique does and feels like would help me out greatly.

Pretty much everything you need is on this.
Once you find which technique feels good for you, you’re in a great spot.
That was really helpful. Thank you. I had used exponential ramp before when I played OW 1 on the Switch, but always heard that one of the others was better to use. I’ve moved to Series X because my PC can’t handle OW any more so I’m having to get used to aiming with a stick only and not having the added help of gyro controls like on the Switch. I do remember liking how exponential felt because it did feel pretty close to some of the other fps games I’ve played like it said in the article.
Playing Mercy is pretty good if you ask me… >:)
I know it is. She was my first main, mostly because my aim sucked. It still does, but I’m wanting to improve it so I can play more aim intensive heroes if the need arose.
