I honestly dont remember how or why, I think it had something to do with Minecraft and I was always mining near the bedrock, which is Near the Void. But I also had a base in The End dimension that was as low as possible
It was a long time ago, I dont remember when I started using my sudonym
Mines was lollipopgirl back to when I had a friend named that on ps3 but she and I lost touch so I kept it in memory of her. Now mines is luna idk I thought of Lunafrey from final fantasy so I went with it
Originally, my name was Ruby12345 (I choose that name when I was like 10 years old). Where I live, Ruby doesn’t mean anything, and it was very close to my real name, Ruben. But then some people started treating me like a girl because Ruby is a girl name. I didn’t care about it, but one they some nasty guys asked me about my “boob size” I told them I was a man, and they left the squad. I felt disgusted. After that, I changed my name to Rubyruben that clearly indicates my name (and gender I think because I never got any more misunderstandings).
You don’t know what I’ve witnessed out there, man!
McCree hiding behind the stairs in Blizzard World, flashbanging the whole backline… Mei trapping Mercy in some side room, freezing her, then letting her heal only to freeze her again…
Junkrat jumping on Widow from behind, double tapping her with nade+ mine combo, then doing the lounging emote next to her body and taking a screenshot…
I’m a huge star wars fan, my first ever Multiplayer FPS was Star Wars Republic Commando in 2005 so my name there was Delta_Force, because I liked the Delta Squad from the story and I also knew about the real life special forces “Delta Force” so I found it kinda funny to have that name for the sake of synergy.
In later years the name shortened because it was too common, resulting in things like “xforce11” because I wanted to keep the Force part but sometimes needed to add numbers due to rules of the games (mostly F2P FPS games). During the MW2 / MW3 / BF3 Era it evolved to “Codename_Force” because my friends and I all had the prefix “Codename” and after that, it mostly shortened to just Force due to simpler naming systems like in OW where you can have multiple people with the same name.
Though in MMORPGs I never used that name for characters (only for the accounts somewhat), there I always tried to find fitting names according to the lore.
