I lost my past 7 matches in each role and i don’t know how to fix this. I’m currently at masters on console and i’ve been playing since three years non stop tbh. I always thought i’m a support main but out of the three roles, it’s my worst rank at 3245 while my Tank is 3752 and my Dps at almost 4000. But since this update i’m playing with the players who have zero game sense.
As much as i like the 2-2-2 comp, there are players for example who have never played support and it shows during the matches. But most of the time i’m stuck with soft throwers who pretend to do something. I’ve been watching the replays and i’m telling y’all, if you guys could see the clownery😭
Does anyone have an idea how to win matches with players like that?
My friend, there is one way to win matches like this. No I am now thinking of two ways.
- Cheat (I do not recommend anyone to)
- Play 2000 SR beyond your tier.
Otherwise it is not possible. People love to say “dafran can rank up so you can too” but this is crazy I do not even have to explain why this logic is so broken. Do not worry , you will soon be given broken match where you cannot possibly lose. At the end of the month you will be where you already are.
The matchmaker is stinky.

Here comes some random mid-gold person who got PBSR’d from bronze to tell you that if you’re good you’ll climb and that you’re just as bad as the worst person on your team because the placement system is infallible.
Honestly, pretty sure support is on par with my tank, but its far and below my lowest rank. I’m sitting at 3055 where I placed for tanks, and my support got placed at at about 2650. A full 400 points below my tank score. I haven’t tried to play yet, but during the beta I tried to climb with support and lost most of my matches and ended the beta season lower than where I placed on that role. I feel like something is seriously wrong with the support matchmaking.

I think a lot of it is that because support is the most forgiving class. What happens is that you can easily find normally non-support players be able to handle the role, however the other jobs when you underperform they have a very large impact on the game.
Before, someone on support could fill in for the lack of damage by jumping on another dmg character and make up for the lack of kills, or peel. Now, they can’t…
Combine that with SR is still all wonky because people are still placed incorrectly cause the ladder hasn’t evened out… it makes for a very bad experience on support.
Playing damage and tank, you can have a greater influence over removing the enemy. This is why it “feels” better to play those heroes, they are self sufficient more than supports.

Support has easily been the most frustrating role to play in 2-2-2. It feels like there is only so much you can do. I’ve tried playing Moira to do more damage but that hasn’t quite worked out since I’m 1-9 with her this season. On tank and especially DPS I feel like I deserve most of my losses. Not really sure if I can say that about playing support.
