I’m M3 on support (mainly ana,bap). But 2/3 of my games there is a support player that picks LW and starts to ‘healbot’ every game and literally having 20k heals most of the matches. I said ‘ok’ mb he’s op, but… no.
I tried playing tank im D4 on tank and again… LW players. I’ve been playing this game for so long and since the buff came LW players are everywhere and most of them avg per 10min healing is like 11-12k which is insane. I’ve noticed the games are longer because of this hero. You can literally stagger with your heals just like mercy which is stupid.
Most of my games are 20-25m because of a LW. He can sustain people so much and the fight can last longer and just farmining ults and insane stats for everyone,why ?.
What kind of value brings LW that so many people play him even in high ranks ?. Do people like to be heal bots ?. Most games are “Mercy,Life Weaver” literally most of my games. If i see kiriko,bap,ana its like a different breed of human. They just play the same heal bot heroes and then blame for no damage or we can’t kill anyone,duh… supports are not helping in dmg too.
Seeing people play Kiriko or Ana as a heal bot hurts my soul, but with LW it’s somewhat understandable since the hero sucks.
It’s also the only hero in the game with whom pretty much nobody has managed to do an unranked to GM challenge with (the only person I found was Bogur, but it took him over 500 games over the span of 3 months.) The problem with healbotting is that you have no control on the outcome of the game, and if the other team has one as well, the game might as well become 4v4.
If a support is bragging about how high their healing is while thinking it’s the dps job to do all the dmg, then they are probably just bad at the game. Mute, avoid, and report.
why report ? Yes it’s underperforming, but it’s not throwing, it’s allowed by the devs team and the EULA.
there is nothing which prohibits playing healbot, the only consequence is that you will go down in the ranks to only play like that.
if you have to report all the bad people in this game then you will spend your time making reports, which will go straight to the trash because nothing prohibits you from being bad, unless it’s really intentional and obvious, like a smurf master who plays like a bronze for derank.
I know it hurts to see teammates dumber than a headless chicken, but these players have Blizzard’s permission to play Overwatch as long as they want.

There’s nothing wrong with LW, killable hero.
However kiriko should be deleted. A support that can survive anything and has a dmg output like widow and hanzo while also has huge heal output with tiniy hitbox
I don’t mind underperforming, but I don’t want to listen to the other support spamming “I need healing” or trash talking everyone while having dealt a total 93 damage as Bap in 5 rounds. But in the mind of a gold player, that’s okay, because he has “18k healing” and it’s all “dpsdiff” - yes, it is, your dps in particular.
I think Moira dominates lower ranks far more than Kiriko. Just go behind the enemy team and annoy them all game and due to their bad aim and your absurd self-sustain + inability to miss shots, you are pretty much immortal. You can do it with Kiriko too, but Kiriko needs to aim and always be aware of where her teammates are, so it’s harder for lower rank players to get as much value out of her.
Kiriko’s skill ceiling is probably much higher than Moira’s tho and she provides a lot of utility (still nowhere near Ana’s anti-heal), so she’s most likely the better choice at higher ranks. That’s how I see it.
