The majority of the playerbase is around gold. That is considered to be the top of the bell curve of overwatch competitive.

It might be partially gold and partially plat depending on the standard deviations.
High gold-low platinum, probably.
By the numbers blizz gave quite a while ago, most people are either gold or plat. I only remember that 10% were in diamond, 3% in masters, and <1% in gm and the average sr being ~2300. I dont remember the lower ranks and these numbers were from over a year ago now.

its right in the middle, so you’re actually better than half of the playerbase if you’re over that
