It’s basically a term for a Lúcio player that plays Lúcio and tries to make flashy plays by jumping into and fighting the enemy team and not really trying to support the team that much.

Doing that is supporting.

When people accuse me of it they think I’m only going for sick boops.

I am going for sick boops, but I’m also healing and speedboosting the team when appropriate.

Yes you can do both with Lúcio, but Reddit Lucio’s only try to DPS.

A Reddit Lucio is the kind of Lucio more concerned with setting up a cool frag than healing and defending your teammates.

A Lucio who only goes for big boop plays. It is called this because on r/Overwatch, all lucio plays are that of these very type of play.

Now, this term gets thrown around alot, but there are very few who actually do that. If you think you have one, it’s most likely that they are still healing and helping the team all the same, it’s just you happen to catch them going for boops.
