A common solution for queue times (At least making them more bearable) is to make some kind of game mode while you wait, some people say free for all, some say practice range and others say Skirmish is fine but what if we combined all of them?
Some sort of Overwatch Hub World where you and maybe 15 other players could do all those things, there is an area to practice your aim with training bots, there is a room where you can opt into an impromptu tdm or ffa match, you can show off your cosmetics and change them, sit around and emote or just chat with people who are there all while hanging out in a virtual area.
The thing about LFG is it was forcing strangers to try and make a competent team whereas this would be the same basis of a skirmish but with more options.
I’ve actually never enjoyed WoW or any MMOs really, I just saw a bunch of posts where people who didn’t like queues had a bunch of ideas for what could replace skirmish and thought combining them would be fun.
Just because Jeff is the director doesn’t mean Overwatch is even remotely the same as WoW. They pander to completely different audiences and I doubt the reception of a social anything would actually be welcome.
That entire post is literally a quote by Jeff Kaplan.
And if you don’t think it’s comedy gold, I feel sorry for anyone who has to listen to you try to be funny.
The only thing cringe-worthy here is the fact that you tried so hard to force the word cringe into your sentence.
I’m implying that he’s a buzzkill, mate, not that he has to laugh at my jokes.
There is nothing buzz kill about it. Fact is that he could get silenced over quoting it directly because it has, in fact, happened to me. I think there is only one of us being unreasonable between us and I’m pretty sure it’s not me.
