What if Null Sector attacked Junkertown?

Now that we know there will be more on Junker Queen and possibly Junkertown what if there was an archives mission where Null Sector attacks it and you can play as Roadhog, Hammond, Junkrat and Junker Queen(?)

But why would they? .

Because they hate omnics and turn them into scrap metal

No, why would Null Sector attack Junkertown? Their goal is rights for omnics - attacking a place that hates omnics and has no political power won’t achieve that.

Still no Junker Healer (unless the Queen is our second Tank/Support Hybrid, which I wouldn’t mind)

It wouldn’t be called Null Sector as that was in Kings Row/UK. But perhaps the Omnium group from their self productive factories. If anything, the Omnics were trying to protect their factories from the Australian Liberation Front, and on the flip side, the ALF lost trust with Omnics after the Omnic Crisis hence, acted to destroy their factories.

A mission could be based on this lore.

Rebels of chaos/destruction or protectors of human-kind. I still wouldn’t know which side I’d lie within.

Power.
Or to make a point.

Junkertown despises omnics. They force them to fight amongst each other for entertainment. Null Sector is arguably a terrorist omnic group that wants to force omnic equal rights.

So what happens if they destroy the one place that is well known for being so omicist?
People don’t want to mess with omnics. Especially if Junkertown falls.

Alternately, Junkertown captures an important Null Sector Omnic that they have the entire Null sector group come after them.

Junkertown doesn’t seem important enough for that. If omnics attacked, I don’t think the outside world would care.

The world would probably thank Null Sector tbh.

Why would it? The Australian Outback is an irradiated wasteland. I wouldn’t think the Omnics would find any advantage to attacking or occupying Junkertown.

I would also question whether the Null Sector continued to exist after the war ended. Presently, the only Omnic opposition are in Russia and nothing has been stated that the Omnics there call themselves by that name.

There are newspapers on the new Havana map that have the headline “¿Quién es Null Sector?”. If the PvP Havana map is present day, then Null Sector is still around (and making a comeback).

Then that is the first bit of info enforcing that.

It would be a very good base for them and Junkertown is proven to be very resourceful with what they have.

It could still be Null Sector. They can move. Just like today. I probably can’t use their name here, but terrorists which became established and known for 2 particular countries are infamous all over the world.

the only reason null sector would attack junker town would be if the junkers somehow salvaged something of value to them possibly not knowing what it was…

So i could see that being a scenario… but other then that there is absolutely no point in attacking the junkes… they are irradiated lunatics no one takes seriously… they are happy to stay put most of the time…

Possibly i could see them hunting down junkrat for some reason… like if his supposed treasure had value to them…
