And he will be the next new hero. Talon Tank. He could be like a “hero-version” of these heavy-weapon guys in Retribution mode.
It would be nice to see him as some kind of heavily augmented bad-cyborg, because he was injured by Reaper. And it would be cool to look at relationships between Reaper as a part of Talon and Antonio after he received a shot from our beloved Edge-lord.

Tbh, the guy looks like a Hog-type tank. I wouldn’t be surprised if his death was staged by Reyes in the end; so he probably could show up again. Would make sense to have a Talon tank.

Yep. No body - no murder. We have not seen what happened with Antonio after he crushed through the window.
I feel like there’s a chance we’ll see both Antionio and Gerard now that they are featured heavily. Both of them having a back from the grave “Oh you thought I was dead!?” vibe.

If Anty really did try to come back I’m pretty sure Doomfist would just kill him like he did to that other Talon high-up dude.
And really, we’ve had too many characters who “died” but came back. We’re at like 5 of them now. That’s plenty.

If they made him into a new hero, they’d probably give him the ability of the Talon Assassins where they stun-lock you as they knock you over and beat your head into the ground.
Doomfist killed Vialli because Vialli attempted a coup. He tried to kill Doomfist and failed. Doomfist simply returned the favour.
If Doomfist was simply seeking a power grab, he would have killed the other executives (Reaper and Moira) instead of allying with them. There’s no reason to suspect that Doomfist would rather Antonio dead.
I was thinking that he survived and got mechanically enhanced and will be called Buckshot because he got shot with a shotgun.
