Based on what we seen already come out, it’s now no surprise what this year is based on.

I mean first year we had lunar festival was year of the rooster…I don’t recall a lot of rooster stuff…
Let’s just call it what it is…lunar festival…ie - Asian theme…people are getting way to stuck on this year of the pig stuff
It’s not based on the five Tiger Generals, Lü Bu was not a Tiger General, though I guess the 3 others are.
You mean hinting that Overwatch would be dead in 3 years so they just did the tiger thing now?
Or hinting that by 2021 we might expect to see Overwatch 2 come out?
Cuz if it’s either one of those 2 options, I’d think dead overwatch is more likely since year of the tiger event could still be used in an overwatch sequel game.

Yeah, I think Blizzard must fully accept the possibility of their game dying long before them. Or, at least shrinking to a small, core of players. Not sure whether they considered that as a factor though.
