What heroes would you like to see added after Space Ranger?

My choices:

More melee heroes

Vishkar/hard-light tank (we have dps and support ones but not a tank one yet. A hard-light tank would be awesome. Maybe Sanjay or another vishkar character)

Junker support (no idea how this would work but it would be awesome)

A drone hero

More animal heroes (jetpack cat when???)

More MEKA squad members, for me either DMon as a tank or Overlord and Dae-hyun (who recently appeared in the porsche trailer) as supports

More talon heroes

More omnics (maybe lynx 17 or iggy?)

Lynx 17 could be the hacker support that sombra was supposed to be originally.

Some of the mirror watch kit from sombra could just be transferred over with a little tweaking.

I don’t see them changing sombra to support so making a support hacker would be interesting

I want them to stop adding and focus on what they have and improving that experience instead of throwing it all up in the air when they add a new one

You can still make the game plenty exciting to play via maps and game modes and cough real cough events and such

Especially when the hero designs arent all that inspired and just mixes of other heroes now

The problem is that your second paragraph contradicts your last paragraph… And yet you are not even wrong. It’s objectively true.

How do they somehow screw everything up with recycled ideas that contribute nothing new? :joy:

That is precisely why I want more new heroes. Higher chance of actually getting something fresh and they cannot balance with a stable roster regardless.

Whatever efforts they make are all upturned the second they add a new hero…it is a much MUCH harder to balance game now with 40 heroes than it was when they had 20 something

They can still make additions to the game…just it doesn’t have to be heroes

I don’t care which heroes they add; the more the merrier. But for the love of God no more displacement CC on any new heroes. No more CC. No. MORE. :weary:

And no more animal heroes pls. Especially cats. I don’t want to shoot a cat. :frowning:

Brigg’s cat Mitzi is more than likely Jetpack Cat, it’s another animal with gigantizm and increased intelligence. Plus in leaked images from the PVE mode one of Brigg’s unlocks from her tree was called MIT21.

Instead of fully new heroes, I kinda wish they’d make alternative versions of existing heroes. Like tank Mei or DPS Doomfist. They might need to be mutually exclusive so you don’t end up with a team of two Meis, but maybe not?

Sanjay, as a Support-DPS hybrid, give him Symmetra’s old gimmick of providing shield hp to his teammates while having low healing and good damage.

We need another Viskar rep, light bending heroes practically let blizzard do whatever they want with their kit since it makes sense lorewise.

I do want Dae-hyun as a hero though, him appearing in the porsche trailer after all this time makes me think they have plans for him. Plus his VA always likes and tweets OW stuff and the official OW twitter even replied to him last month

Only if they highly change up their silhouettes or have some other identifying factor for each role. Part of the game is being able to tell who your fighting, and if you don’t know if it’s a DPS or Tank Mei till after they use an ability things could get rather broken.

Completely agree that they would need to solve for that. And differing voice lines. So it may be ultimately unworkable (or make the character so different from the original that it might as well be a new character anyway).
