What Hero has the most and least changes

I’m just curious as to which heros have the least and most changes. I think Tracer or Maybe McCree has the least? I’m not too sure but I’d love to hear what you guys think.

Mccree has a crazy amount of buffs on him.

Out of the OG heroes, Tracer and Genji have remained the most stagnant. Genji only receiving about 4 nerfs, 1 minor buff and a few bug fixes and QOL changes. And Tracer getting about 1nerf, a half revert and a buff with bug fixes and QOL mixed in.

Most changes, probably Mercy, Symmetra or Brigitte.

Heres a big hint though, generally the least changed heroes are the weakest due to the power creep the game has undergone.

Pharah is one of the least changed heroes.

Nov 2016 she got her hover buff change. Then 2 years of nothing until she got her rework that destroyed her splash. Then nothing up until present day still

I may be forgetting a tiny change or something but those were the only 2 significant changes to her kit since the game launched

Most changes would be Symmetra, since each rework itself had multiple tweaks and changes prior to a new version. Since 3.0 she has received fairly meaty tweaks in both directions.

She’s received buffs to her splash even if they aren’t enough to bring her back to her original levels. They’ve also tweaked her cd’s a bit, plus the increased reload speed.

McCree is probably competing for most changes. They are all so small and insignificant that I can see why you would forget them and/or never notice.

The least changes is Tracer. She was only touched twice since the game released.
Lowering Pulse Bomb Damage from 400 to 300
Increasing Pulse Bomb Damage from 300 to 350

The most changes is hard to tell. If it is about how often they appear in the Patch Notes, probably Mei, D.Va, Mercy or Doomfist. All of them got nerfed and buffed back and forth a lot.
If you mean the biggest changes, defenetly Symmetra. Two reworks, one of them scrapped ALL of her abilities concepts except turrets and she is still in an awful spot, so there might be another rework incoming after all.

Reinhardt barely has any changes.

So many bug fixes that never fixed his bugs, though.

What about Symmetra? She had so many buffs, nerfs and even multiple reworks.
Yet, in my oppinion, everything was garbage BESIDES 2.0 :c

Sym has had both. She literally went from rework to rework. Launch straight to 2.0 then straight to 3.0.

That’s when the devs actually started doing balance changes to sym. It was so frustrating

The reworks also have completely changed the character. 2.0 is nothing like 3.0. The devs didn’t give a crap about the old players and pushed out the rework for the people that complained about her. Thanks

Least Changes would be Tracer, I think. All changes I remember are:
Pulse Bomb Nerf
Pulse Bomb slight revert
Pulse Guns Effective Range Buff

Most Changes goes to Symmetra:

2.0
New Ability Floating Shield (Photon Barrier)
Additional Ultimate (Shield Generator)
Old Photon Shield ability removed
Turret stock changed to Six on spawn (was 3)
Beam range increased from 4 to 9
Turret damage buffed to be equal to damage done on PC versions (consoles only)

3.0
Old Beam Tracking removed, now straight firing.
Beam damage buffed from 30/60/120 to 65/130/195
Beam ramp up nerfed. Slower than 2.0
Range buffed to 10 meters from 9
Orbs Sped up, no longer pierce and now have splash damage on impact
Teleporter now an ability, replaced floating shield
Turrets buffed and nerfed (damage/durability up but amount nerfed)
New Ultimate Photon wall

3.1 and onwards
Beam ramp up buff twice to current speeds
Beam range up from 10 to 12
Teleporter now destroys railings (couldn’t before)
Teleporter became infinite in duration
Teleporter range increase
Beam damage nerfed
Beam width nerfed
Turret damage nerfed
Ultimate duration and durability nerfed

That’s all I can remember.
